24-year-old Mexican Luchador Komander will make his AEW debut this Wednesday on Dynamite as part of the Face of the Revolution Ladder Match.
Komander was announced as one of eight competitors for the match during Friday night’s episode of Rampage. Other competitors include Konosuke Takeshita, Ortiz, Action Andretti, Sammy Guevara, Powerhouse Hobbs, Eddie Kingston, and AR Fox. The winner will receive a future TNT Championship Match opportunity. Current TNT Champion Samoa Joe will be on commentary for the ladder match.
Komander is currently signed with Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide. In addition to AAA, he also wrestles in various independent Mexican promotions and has appeared for Game Changer Wrestling. He has made one appearance for Japanese pro wrestling and mixed martial arts promotion Gleat at the Gleat Ver. EX-show at Korakuen Hall on October 9, 2022. He teamed with Bandido, defeating Kaz Hayashi and Soma Watanabe.
Other matches for Wednesday’s Dynamite include the following:
-Orange Cassidy will defend the All-Atlantic Championship against Big Bill. This match came about from a backstage angle on Rampage where Bill, Lee Moriarty, and The Gunns attacked Best Friends with a steel pipe.
-Hook will defend the FTW Championship against Matt Hardy, which was set up in a backstage interview segment with The Firm on Friday night’s Rampage.
-Chris Jericho vs. Peter Avalon
-Toni Storm vs. Riho
This coming Wednesday’s Dynamite, which will take place from the Cow Palace in Daly City, California, is the go-home show for next Sunday’s Revolution.
