AEW taped the following matches and segment at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland Texas, for this Friday night’s Rampage, that will air on TNT, beginning at 10:00 pm ET.
-Jon Moxley defeated Sammy Guevara by submission. After the match ended, Hangman Page and had another brawl with Moxley. Page hit a security guard the buckshot lariat. He went after Moxley but was dragged away by a ton of guards.
-FTR cut a promo saying The Gunns ruined their night at Final Battle, and will take them out Wednesday. They were all beat up and taped up from the ROH Double Dog Collar match. Cash said that the last week has been hard, because they feel they let the fans down after the fans did so much to support them. He then said when he ripped open his arm, he was not sure if he wanted to wrestle anymore and didn’t love it like he used to, but he’s glad Dax talked him out of it, because they would have missed out on everything they accomplished. He then said that he hoped that the fans know how proud they are. He called out the Gunn Club and said that if someone was going to take them out, it sure as hell won’t be them. Dax said that since he was 8 years old, this is all he wanted to do – make people feel the same passion he had for wrestling.
-Britt Baker submitted Skye Blue with the lockjaw. After the match, Baker refused to let go of the hold continued to apply the lockjaw. Hikaru Shida came down to make the save, running her and Rebel off with a kendo stick. Shida then stared down Jamie Hayter
-Wardlow defeated Exodus Prime. After the match, Wardlow called out Samoa Joe. Joe said he would not fight Wardlow, but he would in Colorado on December 28 for the TNT Title
-Orange Cassidy, Dustin Rhodes, and Best Friends defeated Kip Sabian, Trent Seven, The Butcher, and The Blade. Butcher and Blade turned on Seven and tossed him back into the ring after but he was hugged by the babyfaces, so apparently he turned at the end.
