Below is what happened after AEW Rampage went off the air Friday night on TNT.
Orange Cassidy celebrated with Danhausen and Best Friends.
Tony Khan came out and congratulated Cassidy and 10 for their performances tonight. -1 and his younger brother, Nolan Huber (who was wearing a referee’s shirt) came out with Tony.
Khan introduced Wardlow, who said after the reaction he received, he went from being ready to go to sleep to being ready for a night out. He said this was a special place for the entire company. This venue is home to them. He said that there’s always a little extra excitement in his bones and his soul. He thanked everyone.
Khan then introduced AEW Champion Jon Moxley. He said that everyone in AEW has some great memories here and some rough memories. They all went through a lot here and the fans went through it with them. They built a home here on the backs of the wrestlers and all the people who do all the work behind the scenes in AEW. Moxley began pointing out different people who worked for the company asking them to introduce themselves to the crowd. He said the company has a tough week and lost a dear member of their family. He asked everyone to make as much noise as you can for their hard working crew that works so hard every week behind the cameras. AEW put up an in memoriam graphic for Brian Muster on the screen.
Khan said it’s been a crazy week for AEW. Khan said that in Brian, AEW lost a really important person who was part of the company from day one and he passed away unexpectedly earlier this week. He asked the fans to chant Brian’s name with them in the ring. He thanked the fans for it. He set up a big hug with everyone hugging the kids in the middle. He then led another chant in the memory of Brian Muster.
