AEW taped the following matches Wednesday night at the Key Bank Center, in Buffalo, New York after Dynamite went off the air.
–Grand Slam Tournament of Champions: Sammy Guevara def. Darby Allin due to distractions from Tay Melo and Anna JAS
-ROH World Television Champion Samoa Joe comes to the ring and says his title is open for business. Mark Sterling comes out with Tony Nese & Josh Woods. Woods wants a title shot, and Joe tells him they can have that match tonight. Sterling says next week in Albany works better.
-Serena Deeb defeated Madison Rayne
-Following her win at AEW All Out, TBS Champion Jade Cargill asked if anyone will stop her after 37 consecutive wins. She made it clear that she won’t slow down any time soon.
-Powerhouse Hobbs discussed his win over Ricky Starks at AEW All Out, noting that he put Starks six feet deep. He vowed to show the world how much of a beast he can be in the ring.
–ROH World Championship Match: Claudio Castagnoli def. Dax Hardwood to retain

Per PWInsider, after the taping ended, Claudio took the mic and thanked the audience for staying so late. He wanted to thank everyone for staying to watch their match. Claudio said the ROH title means the world to him and this is what he lives for and why he left his family and friends to compete against someone who loves professional wrestling just as much or more than Claudio. He said he knows the fans love Dax more, so he wants to give him the final word. Tony Khan entered the ring. Dax said he came to Buffalo and he thanked the fans for loving professional wrestling. He said wrestling lives, breathes and sleeps in AEW. He said he was proud to be part of this company. He said everyone saw his beautiful daughter Sunday and his wife, who didn’t want to be on camera. They are the reason he gets up every morning and busts his ass every day. That’s no different than everyone else who has to get up tomorrow and go to their jobs. What he gets to do is that the fans aren’t any different from him. He works his hands to the bone to provide for his family, but they don’t get a chance to thank the people who make it possible, but he does. He said that he loves the fans from every deep down piece of himself. He thanked Buffalo for letting everyone do what they do and introduced Tony Khan.
