Marko Stunt reportedly one of “numerous” AEW talent deals set to expire in May

Marko Stunt has not wrestled on AEW TV since September of 2021

As first reported by Fightful Select, and then also confirmed by F4WOnline, Marko Stunt is one of “numerous” AEW contracts that are reportedly set to expire this May.

Stunt, at one time was a member of Jurassic Express faction, which now consists of Jungle Boy, Luchasaurus and Christian Cage. His last appearance was in September of 2021 on an episode of AEW Dark: Elevation, in which he and Fuego Del Sol lost to Shawn Spears and Wardlow.

According to Fightful, Stunt has not been backstage in months, and there are no creative plans that have been mentioned for him. The report also noted that Stunt has not been included in any Jurassic Express merchandise as of late.

Neither Fightful or F4WOnline stated which other AEW talent contracts are coming up for renewal. However, Joey Janela, in an interview with Denise Salcedo, did say that his deal with AEW is set to expire on May 1.

Janela mentioned that both he and Stunt had not been communicated with, and that AEW “just stopped talking to Stunt.”

It was noted that Stunt has only wrestled four other matches since September 2021, two of which were for Game Changer Wrestling.
