According to Fightful Select, the finish to AEW Women’s World Championship was reportedly changed multiple times in the weeks leading up to the Revolution PPV.
The match saw a lot of interference from Rebel and Jamie Hayter, allowing Britt Baker to hit her Stomp on Thunder Rosa, getting the pin to retain the Championship.
The report noted there is no word why the finish was changed multiple times. There is expected to be a rematch on the St. Patrick’s Day Slam episode of Dynamite, in Thunder Rosa’s hometown of San Antonio on March 16.
