Below are the AEW Rampage spoilers for this Friday night on TNT. The show was taped on Wednesday at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida after the at the Dynamite New Year’s Smash show went off the air.
Darby Allin defeated Anthony Bowens. After the match ended, Andrade El Idolo caused a distraction which allowed The Acclaimed to beat up Darby and Sting.
Anna Jay and Tay Conti defeated Penelope Ford and The Bunny in an anything goes street fight. The match became bloody as all sorts of weapons were used.
Cody Rhodes defeated Ethan Page to retain the TNT Championship. The crowd was said to be 90/10 split on hating or loving Cody, with many chants against him. They still counted the 3 and popped for the finish.
It was announced that AEW will be returning to Daily’s Place on March 2.
After the taping, Tony Khan, and many of the veterans including Chris Jericho, Sting, Tony Schiavone, and others honored Keith Mitchell with a full pyro entrance. He gave a speech thanking his wife and the fans for allowing him to work in professional wrestling all these years.
