AEW announces Jamie Hayter signs with the company

Jamie Hayter returned to AEW on last night’s Rampage, aligning herself with the AEW Women’s Champion Britt Baker.

Baker defeated Red Velvet to retain the AEW Women’s title. Post-match, Baker continued to attack Velvet. Kris Statlander, who was in the crowd, jumped into the ring and confronted Baker.  Then a woman in a hood came in and attacked Statlander, which was revealed as Hayter.  AEW later confirmed on Twitter Hayter had signed with the company.

Hayter made several appearances for AEW in 2019. She also appeared on an episode of NXT UK in January 2020. Hayter has also worked for RevPro in the United Kingdom, where she held the British Women’s Championship.

In addition, she worked for Stardom in Japan, where she held the SWA Undisputed World Championship. She was forced to vacate the British Women’s Championship this past June after accepting a tryout offer from WWE for NXT UK that took place on the same night of a RevPro show she was set to appear at.
