IMPACT Wrestling star Karl Anderson challenged current IWGP United States Champion Jon Moxley for the title at next week’s AEW Dynamite: Fyter Fest Night 1.
In his promo (view below) Anderson gave his own history in New Japan Pro Wrestling, and how it makes him sick that Moxley is the current IWGP US Champion. Anderson also noted that Kenny Omega was the first person to hold that specific championship.
Moxley has not yet to responded to Anderson’s challenge. He has been off AEW television since Double or Nothing after he and Eddie Kingston were unsuccessful in capturing the AEW World Tag Team Championships from The Young Bucks.
Jon Moxley and his wife Renee Paquette (Young) announced the birth of their first child, a girl back on June 15.
AEW Dynamite: Fyter Fest Night 1 will take place at the HEB Center in Cedar Park, Texas next Wednesday night live on TNT beginning at 8:00 pm ET.
