Darby Allin will defend the TNT Championship against Jungle Boy on next week’s live episode AEW Dynamite.
AEW confirmed the match after Darby Allin told Tony Khan on Twitter to pick an opponent for him from the top 5 men’s rankings. AEW then later announced on Twitter that AEW CEO and President Tony Khan picked Jungle Boy to challenge Allin.
Jungle Boy also took to Twitter to thank Tony Khan for the opportunity and said he is looking forward to the challenge.
Allin successfully defended the TNT Championship on this past Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite against Matt Hardy in a Falls Count Anywhere Match.
