New AEW signee Serena Deeb announced she will be self-isolating for the next 10 days after coming into contact with a person diagnosed with COVID-19.
Deeb noted that she is doing the quarantine as a precaution and did not mention that she is sick. Due to the quarantine, she announced she would not be able to compete on Prime Time Live against Allysin Kay, so Nicole Savoy will be replacing her:
“Earlier this week, I came into contact with an individual who later tested positive for COVID-19. I am taking extra precaution and will be self-quaranting for 10 days.
Due to this, I unfortunately have to postpone the match at Primetime Live next week with Allysin Kay. I offer my utmost apologies for this. This is a serious matter, and the health and safety of everyone involved always comes first.
– Serena Deeb”
It was reported yesterday that AEW had a number of talent (some brought in for AEW Dark tapings) had tested positive for COVID-19. Lance Archer and Ben Carter both came forward and announced they had tested positive for COVID-19.
Allysin Kay is going to have a hell of a battle on her hands with Nicole Savoy at Prime Time Live on 9/29!
