AEW star Lance Archer has tested positive for COVID-19.
Archer announced the positive test result on Twitter. When he returned home from the last episode of AEW Dynamite, one of his family members was sick. Archer later found out that a friend that didn’t know they were COVID-19 positive had taken the family member to the veterinarian’s office for their dog.
Archer is now sick and tested positive, but says he is feeling fine and expects to be back on AEW Dynamite in two weeks.

Archer was scheduled to team with FTW Champion Brian Cage and Ricky Starks to take on AEW World Champion Jon Moxley, Darby Allin, and Will Hobbs tonight. As of right now, Archer is still set for an AEW World Championship match on the October 14 episode of Dynamite.
Since the 6-Man Tag Match was canceled, Jon Moxley announced he will instead be defending the AEW World Championship on AEW Dynamite.
Change of plans. I'm putting up the title tonight. Live TV babe. #AEWDynamite
