The Finals of the TNT Championship Tournament will be held at AEW Double or Nothing on Saturday, May 23.
Cody will battle Lance Archer with the winner becoming the inaugural TNT Champion. Last night on Dynamite, Cody defeated Darby Allin while Lance Archer defeated Dustin Rhodes. Double or Nothing will air live on Pay Per View, but it is not known where the show will be held from.
Announced for next week’s show is the AEW in-ring debut of Matt Hardy. Hardy will team with Kenny Omega to take on Le Sex Gods, Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara. It will be held under Street Fight Rules.
AEW World Champion Jon Moxley will also return to the show and face Frankie Kazarian in a non-title match. MJF is also advertised to return. Cody will also take on Joey Janela.
AEW Dynamite will be held live from Daily’s Place next week in Jacksonville, Florida. We will have live coverage of the show on Wednesday beginning at 8 p.m. Eastern/7 Central.
