AEW has announced that Sammy Guevara and Sugar D will square off on this Wednesday’s episode of Dynamte on TNT.
Sugar D appeared on last week’s show wearing a shirt with pineapples while serving as a member of the audience, and provoking Sammy Guevara. Chris Jericho, who was doing color commentary, kept referring to Sugar D as Pineapple Pete.
Sugar D debuted for AEW on the March 24 edition of AEW Dark in a loss to Kip Sabian.
It was also announced on Saturday that Shawn Spears will be in action on Wednesday’s show.

– TNT Championship Tournament Quarter Final Match: Colt Cabana vs. Lance Hoyt.
– Chuckie T. vs. Kip Sabian.
– No Holds Barred Empty Arena Match for AEW Championship: Jon Moxley defends against Jake Hager.
Chris Jericho and Tony Schiavone will return on commentary.
Jim Ross returns to call the AEW World Championship Match.
