AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT ratings for March 11, 2020 are now in.

AEW and NXT were impacted by news coverage of the coronavirus pandemic. 

AEW Dynamite, going head-to-head against WWE NXT, drew an average of 766,000 viewers on Wednesday night according to a report by Showbuzzdaily.com.

This is down from last week’s show that drew an average of 865,000 viewers on TNT.  Dynamite came in at No. 25 for the night on cable in the 18-49 demographics, way down from No. 5 where they placed last week.

This week’s episode of NXT drew an average of 697,000 viewers on Wednesday night, down from the 718,000 last week. NXT came in at No. 42 for the night on cable in the 18-49 demographics, down from No. 20 where they placed last week.

In overall viewership, AEW Dynamite defeated WWE NXT in the eleventh head-to-head battle of 2020 in the “Wednesday Night War” by 69,000 viewers. AEW has not lost yet in 2020.

This week’s NXT viewership is the third-lowest since the show started airing on Wednesdays on the USA Network last year. The October 30 episode of drew 580,000 viewers while the January 1 episode on New Year’s drew 548,000 viewers.

This is the second-lowest AEW viewership in the history of the show. The Thanksgiving November 27 episode drew 663,000 viewers.

Demographic Ratings for AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT

WWE NXT, featuring two championship matches, averaged a 0.23 rating among adults 18-49. This is the same rating they have for the last two weeks.

AEW Dynamite, headlined by Adam Page with a mystery partner, averaged a 0.26 rating among adults 18-49. This is down from last week’s 0.35 rating.
