Backstage, MJF cuts a promo about the match between Wardlow and Jericho tonight. MJF says that Jericho cannot live with the fact that he can’t beat MJF and says it has made for some great television seeing Jericho get his ass kicked every week. MJF says it’s going to be beautiful to see Jericho come so close to finally getting his rematch only for Wardlow to stop him at the finish line. MJF tells Wardlow to get the job done.

Trios Match
The Elite w/Michael Nakazawa, Brandon Cutler & Don Callis vs. The Sydal Brothers & Dante Martin

Matt Jackson and Matt Sydal chain wrestle to start the match off and Sydal hits a gorgeous Standing Corkscrew Moonsault after Jackson got caught taunting him. Mike Sydal tags in and hits a Ghetto Stomp to the arm of Matt Jackson and then catches him with a series of armdrags. Mike catches Matt Jackson with a beautiful Oklahoma Roll for two. Martin tags in but Matt Jackson pokes him in the eyes and tags his brother into the match for the first time.

Nick runs over Martin but eats a dropkick as he comes off the ropes. Martin hits a beautiful Spinning Headscissors sending Nick to the outside. Omega hits Martin with a Mafia Kick but then walks into a Double Enziguri from the Sydals. The Sydals and Martin hit Triple Baseball Slides onto the Elite on the outside. The Sydals send Martin flying over the top into a Plancha on The Elite on the outside. In the ring, Martin hits as Flying Cross Body on Nick Jackson for two.

Mike Sydal tags in and hits a Standing Moonsault for another nearfall. Omega tags in and the Elite start triple teaming Mike Sydal. After isolating Mike Sydal for several minutes Omega just blatantly steps on his nuts and then The Bucks hit a Wheel Barow Facebuster combo followed by a Leg Lariat/Wheelbarrow Slam combo from Matt and Omega for a nearfall. The Bucks attempt a Double Suplex but Mike lands on his feet and then Matrixes out of a spin kick from Matt Jackson and tags in Matt Sydal.

Matt Sydal hits a series of kicks on The Elite and connects with a Fisherman Buster for two. Nick Jackson broke up the pin attempt but then he and Matt walk into a Double Rana from Matt Sydal. Matt Sydal counters a Backbreaker attempt from Matt Jackson into a Cobra Clutch! Mike Sydal comes over and locks in a Bridging Chinlock at the same time but Omega walks over and pulls him off and hits Snap Dragons on both Sydal Brothers.

Martin lands on his feet on a Snap Dragon attempt and then backflips over Omega and hits an Enziguri! Mike Sydal gets the hot tag to Martin and the goes nuts on The Elite! Martin dropkicks Nick into Matt and then hits a Tope Suicida onto Omega on the floor! Martin hits a beautiful Springboard Rana onto Omega on the floor and then a Double Spring Asai Moonsault on Matt in the ring! HOLY SHIT! 1…2…NO Jackson kicks out and the fans are absolutely ON FIRE!

Martin goes back up top but misses a Splash and lands on his feet only to eat a Flying Knee from Nick. The Sydal and Bucks trade kicks that is capped off by a V-Trigger from Omega on Matt Sydal. Omega tags himself in and immediately kills Martin with a nasty Neckbreaker over his knee. Omega hits the V-Trigger followed by an attempt at the One Winged Angel, but Martin flips out of it and hits an Enziguri! Martin attempts to take him down but eats another V-Trigger! Omega tries to pick Martin up but Martin rolls him up for a CLOSE nearfall! Omega gets back up and hits the V-Trigger again! The Bucks hit a Double Superkick on the Sydals and Omega hits the One Winged Angel. Omega and The Bucks hit a BTE V-Trigger on Martin for the pin.

Winners: The Elite via pinfall (BTE V-Trigger)
(Holy hell, that match was awesome. That trios would have fit in perfectly in Mexico City, it was THAT exciting. I cannot rave enough about Dante Martin and his performance there. Every time I see him he gets better and better and the crowd went absolutely nuts for his hot tag. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for him. Omega deserves credit for being so giving to Martin in this match, too. ****1/2)

Tony Schiavone attempts to interview The Elite but Callis takes the microphone away and starts heeling on the crowd. Christian immediately makes his way out and Callis calls him the “Stanford Stooge” and reminds him that he’s outnumbered, but the Jurassic Express make their way out.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

Callis says they know why Christian is here and a massive “CM PUNK” chant starts up. He says that Omega is going to give Christian that 5-star match he’s always wanted but he needs to go backstage and wait his turn. Christian calls Callis a “carnie piece of shit” and says that he notices Omega has more than one championship. Christian says that Omega will be defending one of those titles on Rampage this Friday against Christian for the Impact World Heavyweight Championship!

Christian and the Jurassic Express start to leave but Jungle Boy stops and says he almost forgot, he and Luchasaurus will face The Bucks next week on Dynamite for the Tag Titles!

Malakai Black says that he did everything he said he would last week and then holds up Cody’s boot and says Cody has one foot in the grave and to let him know when he wants to put the other one it.

A promo airs about Cody Rhodes’ reality series coming to TNT.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

“The Redeemer” Miro cuts a promo about his dominance last week and says that after he beat the shit out of Lee Johnson he forgave him for crossing him. Miro says Fuego del Sol gets a shot at his title on Rampage and if he wins he gets an AEW contract.

Danny Garcia w/2.0 vs. Darby Allin w/Sting

Garcia is coming off an excellent match with Wheeler Yuta on Dark. Garcia shows off his mat wrestling ability early on and taunts Allin by slapping him in the face. Allin hits a shoulder block and a Fireman’s Carry Takeover before putting Garcia in a side headlock. Garcia fights out with a Back Suplex attempt but Garcia lands on his feet and catches Allin with an Armdrag and locks in an Armbar.

Allin tries to fight out but Garcia takes him back down with a Wristlock and when Allin tries to roll through Garcia slams him back down to the mat. Allin rolls Garcia up for two and then catches Garcia with another nearfall. Garcia reverses into a Backslide for two and tries to go for a submission but Allin quickly gets to the ropes. Allin gets frustrated and shoves Garcia and when Garcia goes after him Allin takes him down and goes for a Fujiwara Armbar. Garcia quickly gets to the ropes.

Garica rakes Allin’s eyes as 2.0 distracts the referee but Sting backs them down. Garcia flips Allin upside down into the turnbuckles.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

Garcia hits a Hammerlock Back Suplex for two. Garcia repeatedly stomps on Allin’s arm and immediately puts him in a wild Double Armlock. He uses his boot to stomp on Allin’s head at the same time but Allin got his foot under the bottom rope to break the hold. Garcia slaps Allin which wakes him up and Allin hits a series of chops and then goes for a Coffin Drop but Garica catches him in a Rear Naked Choke! Allin rolls backwards into a nearfall and then hits the Diamond Dust followed by the Coffin Drop.

Winner: Allin via pinfall (Coffin Drop)
(Really good technical match between these two. Garcia continues to impress every opportunity he gets. I think this match perfectly illustrates how good AEW can be. After a NASCAR-style nonstop high flying trios to open the show, Garcia and Allin almost solely mat wrestled for 10 minutes. ***1/2)

2.0 attacks Sting but Allin and Sting fight them off. Sting hits a Suplex on one of them on the ramp.

In the back, Death Triangle discuss what Andrade has been doing. Fenix says they are tired of it and Penta says he wants the first shot at Andrade. PAC tells them to let him worry about Andrade because they need to worry about getting their shot at the AEW Tag Team Titles. He says they deserve that gold. PAC says they don’t know Andrade and they don’t like him and they don’t know why he’s obsessed with them and that stops now. PAC says that if Andrade has a problem with what he’s saying then he can come do something about it any time or any place.

Trios Match
The HFO (Matt Hardy, Isaiah Kassidy & Marq Quen) w/The Blade, Hybrid 2 & Allie vs. The Best Friends (Chuck Taylor & Orange Cassidy) & Wheeler Yuta w/Kris Statlander

Hardy and OC kick things off and Matt slaps away OC’s hands every time he tries to put his hands in his pocket. When Matt tries to slap OC, OC blocks it and puts Matt’s hands in his own pocket and then rolls him for two. Matt comes right back with the Side Effect for two. Matt goes up top but OC rolls to the other side of the ring and sidesteps Hardy as he charges at him. OC hits a Splash off the bottom rope for two.

Quen and Kassidy take turns with some quick tags as they work on OC. They go for Poetry In Motion in the corner but OC moves and tags Yuta. Yuta dives off OC’s back into a Splash on Quen and then Taylor hits the Sole Food on Kassidy after he tags in. Yuta hits the ropes but Quen knees him in the back and Private Party hits Silly String for two.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

Yuta hits a dropkick on Private Party and Hardy distracts the referee so that HFO can pull Best Friends off the apron. Kris Statlander tries to intervene but Nyla Rose runs out and throws her into the apron. Yuta makes the hot tag to Taylor and Taylor throws Private Party into each other. Taylor this a Somersault Plancha onto Angelico and Blade on the floor. Taylor hits a Press Slam on Kassidy and then Pop-Up Powerbombs Quen on top of Kassidy. Taylor hits a Spinning Liger Bomb on Quen for two.

Matt Hardy attacks Taylor but OC hits a Satellite DDT on Hardy and then a Tope Suicida onto Hardy on the floor. Taylor hits a Uranage Suplex on Quen and Yuta hits a Splash off the top for two. Yuta runs into a boot from Quen and Kassidy tags Quen as Yuta went for a Suplex. Yuta hits the Suplex but Kassidy hits a Splash off the top on Yuta for two. Private Party goes for a Spanish Fly but Taylor pulls Kassidy off the top. Hardy throws Taylor into the barricade. Private Party hits Gin and Juice for two but OC breaks it up. OC hits the Orange Punch on Quen and as Jack Evans distracts him Matt Hardy throws Kassidy inot OC and hits the Twist of Fate on Yuta for the pin.

Winner: Hardy via pinfall (Twist of Fate)
(That match was an absolute mess. There was some good action but there was way too much interference, too. **)

Backstage, Andrade says that PAC is a very ungrateful person and Chavo says that Andrade has shown PAC nothing but respect. Andrade tells PAC to be careful what he wishes for and Chavo suggests Andrade teach PAC who the boss is at All Out.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

A video package highlights the feud between PNP and FTR. Santana taunts Cash for his injury and says that they are coming for blood over and over.

“The Native Beast” Nyla Rose w/Vickie Guerrero vs. Kris Statlander w/Orange Cassidy

Rose attacks Statlander as soon as she gets in the ring but Statlander fights back with a series of kicks only to eat a Pounce from Rose. Rose chokes Statlander in the ropes and then hits a German Suplex. Rose charges at Statlander but she moves causing Rose to fall to the outside. Statlander trips Rose on the outside and then hits a gorgeous Pendulum Moonsault off the apron.

Vickie gets in OC’s face and screams at him as Rose hits a Chokeslam on Statlander on the apron for two. Rose hangs Statlander up in the ropes and goes up top but Statlander does a handstand to come off the ropes only for Rose to Spear her. Rose lifts Statlander up to the top rope and climbs up with her but Statlander escape and hits a Powerbomb! Statlander goes up top and hits a gorgeous 450 Splash for the pin!

Winner: Statlander via pinfall (450 Splash)
(That was very short but Statlander looked excellent. That was 100% a Statlander showcase. **)

Backstage, The Bucks taunt Hangman Page and they say that they showed why they are truly Elite earlier this week. Matt Jackson says that no one in AEW is in their league and Nick Jackson says next week will be as easy as a layup and goes to do a layup on a basketball goal but Luchasaurus appears out of nowhere and blocks the shot. Jungle Boy grabs the ball and dunks it.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

A video package hypes up Red Velvet/Britt Baker scheduled for Rampage. Schiavone welcomes Baker out to the ring to a huge ovation. Terrible towels are being waved as she comes to the ring and they all say “Brittsburgh” on them. Baker says she can’t relate to Red Velvet’s struggle in AEW because she has always been the “baddest bitch on the block.” Baker say she can relate to Velvet’s fearlessness because she wasn’t afraid when AEW needed a new face of the company and when Pittsburgh needed a champion. Baker says this has been a tough year for Pittsburgh and then raises her title and says, “I present to you hope.”

Baker says Velvet may have a glimmer of hope against her if she was wrestling her anywhere else other than Pittsburgh. She says that Velvet wanted to swim with sharks and now she is going to drag her into the deep end. Red Velvet attacks Baker and they brawl into security breaks it up.

Impact World Tag Team Championships
The Dark Order (Stu Grayson & Evil Uno) w/Colt Cabana vs. The Good Brothers (c) w/Brandon Cutler

Scott D’Amore of Impact is on commentary for this. Grayson starts the match off with a Somersault Plancha onto GB as they made their entrance. Dark Order hits an Atomic Drop/Dropkick combo for two on Anderson and Uno tags in and rolls Anderson up for another nearfall. Grayson and Uno double team Anderson in their corner but Anderson fights his way out and Cutler slams Uno into the apron. Cabana attacks Cutler and fights with him up the ramp. Frankie Kazarian appears on the ramp and lays Cutler out and drags him to the back.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

Gallows goes for a Fireman’s Carry on Grayson but he escapes and attempts one of his own but can’t get him up. Grayson hits a Double Pele on GB though and tags in Uno. Uno kicks Anderson into a Belly-to-Belly Suplex from Grayson into Gallows. Dark Order hits a 450-Splash/Cannonball combo on the GB for two. Dark Order goes for Fatality but Anderson escapes and shoves Uno into the corner as Gallows lays Grayson out. They go for Magic Killer but Uno breaks it up.

Uno sends Gallows to the floor and then throws Grayson through the ropes into a Tope Suicida onto Gallows. Uno hits the Flatliner on Anderson as they go for Fatality again. Gallows crotches Grayson and Anderson hits the Gun Stun on Uno. Good Brothers hit Magic Killer for the pin.

Winners & STILL Impact Tag Champs: Good Brothers via pinfall (Magic Killer)
(Good tag team match, The Dark Order are severely underrated. ***)

A video package highlights NWA Women’s Champion Kamille.

Tony Schiavone brings QT Marshall to the ring for his “apology” but Marshall says he wasn’t going to apologize; Schiavone should be apologizing to him. QT says he going to apologize for what they did to him but instead he’s going to apologize for what they are about to do to Tony’s son. The Factory drags Tony’s son out of the crowd into the ring and punch him in the gut. QT forces Tony to apologize but says it’s not accepted and hits a Diamond Cutter!

Paul Wight comes out but AT shoves Solow at him and bails. Wight hits a Chokeslam and then stares QT down.

It’s announced that Sting and Darby Allin will face 2.0 in a Texas Tornado Match next week.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—

Joey Janela’s heel turn on Sonny Kiss on AEW Dark is shown.

Main Event
The 5 Labours of Jericho Ch. 4
“The Demo God” Chris Jericho vs. Wardlow w/MJF

Jericho jumps Wardlow off the bat but Wardlow tosses Jericho into the corner and lays into him with punches, shoulder blocks and stomps. Wardlow goes for a Splash but Jericho gets his boots up and dives off the top with a Flying Axe Handle. Jericho hits the Codebreaker! 1…NO Wardlow kicks out at one! Wardlow smiles at Jericho and Jericho looks stunned.

Wardlow slams Jericho into the corner and tosses him across the ring. Wardlow hits a series of Release Vertical Suplexes and a clothesline that sends Jericho to the floor. Wardlow slams Jericho into the barricade before slamming his head into the ring post and then Press Slamming him onto the apron. Wardlow slams him into the post again and then hits a Powerbomb back in the ring. Wardlow hits a second Powerbomb.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

Wardlow hit even more Powerbombs during the break and yet another one after the commercial break ended. Jericho still tries to fight back only to eat the F10. MJF tells Wardlow not to pin him and instead keep beating on him. Wardlow lifts Jericho up to the top rope and goes for the Casualty of War but Jericho blocks it and counters into the Walls of Jericho! MJF rakes the eyes of Jericho as the referee was checking on Wardlow.

MJF tries to hand the ring to Wardlow but the referee catches him and kicks him out from ringside! Wardlow grabs Jericho but Jericho hits Wardlow with the bat as the referee was turned around followed by the Judas Effect for the pin!

Winner: Jericho via pinfall
(Wardlow was dominating as hell but the story of the match was MJF kept telling Wardlow to punish an exhausted Jericho instead of pinning him only for it to eventually backfire. The story was good, the action in the match was just okay. **1/2)

Shawn Spears attacks Jericho after the match but Sammy Guevara runs out and evens the odds only for MJF and Wardlow to attack him. MJF puts Jericho in the Salt of the Earth but Jake Hager runs out and The Pinnacle bails.

MJF says Jericho may have earned his rematch but the stipulation for it is that Jericho is banned from using the Judas Effect and he can’t come to the ring with his “Judas” song either.
