We go right to Christian Cage backstage welcoming us to the show. He says that it has been one year since he put this show on the map with the TNT Title. He then says that tonight we will see where the best wrestle. He then closed by saying Christian Cage’s Collision is going to be very special.

The music of the BCC hits as Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness welcome us to the show. The BCC gang comes from the concession area and walk through the crowd to make their way to the ring. The fans gives them a great ovation as Bobby Cruise introduces them.

The music of TMDK is up next as Shane Haste and Mikey Nicholls come out. Lio Rush and Rocky Romero are out next. They make their way to the ring with really no ovation from the fans.

Blackpool Combat Club’s Bryan Danielson, Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta and Claudio Castagnoli vs. TMDK (Shane Haste and Mikey Nicholls), Lio Rush and Rocky Romero

Bryan Danielson and Lio Rush will start things off. Bryan tries to kick Lio who ducks. Lio runs the ropes, but Bryan ducks a kick. Both men lock up for test of strength. They break the hold as Bryan picks up Lio and then tags in Yuta. Lio nails Yuta and pushes him to the corner. Rush tags in Romero as he and Yuta go at it with slaps. Romero kicks Yuta in the head, but he recovers and grabs Romero and holds him to tag in Claudio. Romero runs the ropes and takes down Claudio. Romero tags in Mikey Nicholls with a running lariat…Shane Haste is tagged in, but Claudio takes him down with a bulldog. Bryan Danielson is tagged in. He drop kicks Shane Haste and then follows up with a running kick to the head and a running elbow. Bryan applies the yes lock as Rush, Romero and Haste come in…the rest of the BCC come in and take out Haste, Rush and Romero. Danielson hits Nicholls with several kicks. Danielson gets distracted as Haste hits him…

We go to picture-in-picture: Romero works on Danielson with blows to the head. Nicholls then tags in Romero as he and Rush double team Danielson. Romero uses his knee and the ropes to apply pressure on Danielson’s face. A chair is tosses in the ring, but the ref throws it over the ropes. Romero has Danielson in a headlock. He gets to his feet with Romero on his back holding on as he tries to make the tag.

Back from the picture-in-picture break, Romero charges at Danielson and hits him in the throat with a forearm. Danielson is up on the ropes. Romero climbs up as Danielson drops him. Haste is tagged in – Claudio is tagged in. He takes down TDMK with big uppercuts. Claudio picks up Haste for huge big body drop. Claudio goes to the outside and has a chair. he charges at Nicholls and sends him over the barricade. Claudio attempts a giant swing on Haste, but Nicholls comes in to break up the hold. Nicholls sends Yuta to the floor. Mox comes in and kicks Haste in the face. Nicholls is tagged in. Mox is tagged in. He takes out Nicholls with several rights as the fans count along. Nicholls hits Mox with a back elbow. Both men go down with a lariat on each other. Rush is tagged in as he goes to the top rope and lands on Mox. Rush covers him for only a two count. Mox recovers. TDMK come in and double Mox. Danielson comes in and takes out Haste with a running dropkick…Romero is in as Claudio picks him up with the giant swing! Rush comes in who is the legal man attempts a headlock on Claudio. He breaks the hold and tosses Rush up as Mox catches him and delivers a death rider as Claudio covers him to get the win for the BCC.

Winners by pinfall: Blackpool Combat Club’s Bryan Danielson, Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta and Claudio Castagnoli

After the match, Mox has a mic. The fans start to chant Moxley. He talks about being a survivor. He says that he is coming to Forbidden Door to put an end to Tetsuya Naito.

BCC leaves through the crowd.

We go to a video package with MJF vs. Rush that is set for Wednesday’s Dynamite, which will be commercial free.

Tony Schiavone is in the ring, as he introduces The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn. They make their way out to the ring. We get no rap from Max Caster. Caster has a mic. He says usually they come out with a rap and some punchlines, but today the EVP’s issued a $5,000 fine against Anthony Bowens for talking bad about company executives. Caster says EVP’s are out of touch with what the people want. He says the fans what him roasting people on the mic. He says the fans want to see The Acclaimed become the new tag team champions on Wednesday. Anthony Bowens then says they are not the same tag team they faced back in 2020 and they are not an upstart. He runs down their tag team title history in AEW. Bowens says they want their tag titles back. He says to the Bucks do their worst, fine them and they will do whatever they can to get their company back. Caster then says the Bucks can take the fines and stick it up their virgin a—-. Caster then begins to rap, but Brandon Cutler comes out at cuts them off. He says tonight should be praise for the EVP’s because they have carried this show from day one. Cutler then says they are fined $10,000. The Interim EVP in Christopher Daniels comes out and says Tony Khan has reversed everything…Cutler gets in the face of Daniels, who grabs his clipboard and hits him with it. Daniels then tosses Cutler into the ring as The Acclaimed take out Cutler with the scissor me timbers.

It was later clarified by the commentary team this is a tag team title eliminator match. The promo from The Acclaimed make it appear this was an actual tag title match happening on Wednesday.

Back from the break, Deonna Purrazzo’s music hits as The Virtuosa makes her way down to the ring. Thunder Rosa’s music hits next as she makes her way down to the ring.

No Disqualification Match: Thunder Rosa vs. Deonna Purrazzo

Rosa climbs the ropes, but Deonna takes advantage of it as she pushes Rosa. The action goes to the floor…Rosa grabs Deonna and slams her head on the steel steps. Rosa goes under the ring and grabs a trash can and a chain. Rosa hits Purrazzo with trash can lid. Deonna grabs Rosa’s arm and puts it in between the steel steps and ring and then kicks the steps. Deonna grabs a chair and sets it up between turnbuckles. Rosa comes in and hits Deonna with a back elbow and then drops her with a death valley driver…Rosa grabs a table and tries to put it in the ring, but Deonna takes her down with a sliding baseball drop kick as we go to picture-in-picture.

Picture-In-Picture: Deonna pushes Rosa into the ring post. Deonna picks her up on tosses into the ring. Deonna has Rosa in a headlock with her legs and slams her face on the table in the ring. Deonna covers Rosa for a two count.

Back from the full commercial break, Deonna has a chair, but Rosa kicks into the face of Purrazzo. Rosa picks up Deonna and drops her on the table. Rosa covers Purrazzo, but she kicks out at two. Rosa is up on the ropes as Deonna kicks her hard. Rosa drops to the mat. Purrazzo drop kicks Rosa and covers her for a two count. Purrazzo picks up Rosa, but she counters it and DDT’s Deonna on the chair. Rosa covers Purrazzo, but she kicks out at two. Rosa sets up the table and then puts the trash can over Purrazzo. Rosa uses the table as a ramp and drop kicks Deonna. Rosa covers Purrazzo for only a two count. Rosa spikes Deonna in the gut. Purrazzo recoves and picks up Rosa and piledrivers her. Deonna locks in the arm of Rosa as she gets out of the hold. the action spills to the floor. Deonna then kicks one of the staff photographers. Deonna then hits Rosa in the head with the camera and then grabs the arms of Rosa and pulls them back. The ref calls for the bell as Rosa is out. Purrazzo then stands on Rosa as she celebrates the win.

Winner: Deonna Purrazzo

We go to a video package of the very first Collision that aired one year ago.

Dalton Castle’s music hits next as he makes his way out with new boys – four of them to be exact. These guys look like a bunch of goofs. Dalton doesn’t need them to be over. He is good enough on his own.

Hechicero’s music up next as he makes his way out with The Gates of Agony.

Hechicero vs. Dalton Castle

The bell rings as we are underway. Both men attempt to lock up. Both men go to the ropes. Castle jaws at Hechicero as he slaps Castle. Both men slap each other. Castle runs the ropes, but Hechicero runs behind him and drops him on his back. Hechicero covers Castle for only a two count. Castle grabs Hechicero and hits him with an elbow. Castle picks up Hechicero for a bang a rang, but Hechicero counters out of it. Castle hits Hechicero with a back elbow, but he comes back with big chops on Castle. Castle then picks up Hechicero and suplexes him. Dalton picks up Hechicero, but he counters with a sunset flip…Hechicero then delivers a twisting leg drop on Castle to get the win.

Winner by pinfall: Hechicero

After the match, Hechicero and Gates of Agony triple team Castle. Castle’s new boys come in, but its too much…Daniel Garcia’s music hits as he and Matt Menard run in with chairs to send the heels out of the ring.

-COMMERCIAL BREAK-

We go backstage with Arkady Aura interviewing Action Andretti, Dante Martin and Darius Martin…Martin talks about his match tonight with Lee Morarity. Lio Rush comes in and introduces himself to Darius and says he has Dante’s back tonight.

Christian Cage Father’s Day Special

Back in the ring, momma Wayne, Nick Wayne and Killswitch are in the ring. Momma Wayne says how dare you boo a mother. She then introduces Christian Cage. Cage sits in a chair and says that he didn’t expect the most important holiday of the year in a rust bucket. He tells Youngstown to shut their mouth. He says today in the untimely passing of his adopted son Nick Wayne’s passing. Christian then says Nick’s father’s passing was the best thing that ever happened to him. He then tells Nick he loves him and calls him son. Nick then gives a card to Cage. He reads it…in the card, Nick calls Christian dad. There is also a gift that is covered. Christian pulls the black curtain off and its a painting of Christian. He doesn’t seem impressed, but then talks about the card, calling Nick a wordsmith and will cherish it forever. We get Luchasaurus chants…Christian says to his name is Killswitch. He then tells Killswitch why can’t he be more like Nick. As Killswitch starts to leave, he tells Killswitch to get back in the ring…Christian Cage then talks about how his shoulder was up at the three count in his title match with Swerve Strickland. Christian then says his gift to Nick and Killswitch is that they will win the World Unified Trios Championship. Christian then says Tony Khan’s father gave him money to start AEW so he could see a smile on his son’s face. Christian then says he is greatest signing in AEW and says he is Tony Khan’s father and that the Patriarchy is face of TNT and the greatest ever.

We go backstage with the Bang Bang Gang. They call themselves the Collision cowboys and say they built Collision brick by brick. They run down Christian Cage and House of Black. They say that tonight is not about the titles, but if you can hang with the Collision cowboys.

Dante Martin’s music hits next as he makes his way out to the ring. Lee Moriarty is out next by himself.

AEW TNT Title Ladder Qualifying Match: Lee Moriarty vs. Dante Martin

The bell rings as we are underway. Lee goes after Dante, but he uses his legs to block it. Both men flip around. Lee puts up his leg. We get a test of strength. Lee takes down Dante. Lee runs the ropes as Martin uses his legs to take down Lee. Lee goes to the floor. Martin then runs as if he is going to leap, but Lee moves out of the way. Martin chops Lee. The action goes back into the ring. Lee sends Martin to the floor as we go to picture-in-picture.

Picture-In-Picture: The action is back in the ring as Lee works on Martin. Lee covers Martin, who kicks out at two. Lee grabs the left arm of Dante and bends it back, trying to get him to submit. Lee lets go. Martin runs against he ropes, but Lee nails him with right and then a dropkick. Lee grabs the left arm Dante and works on it. He slams it on the mat and then bends it back, again trying to get Dante to submit.

Back from the picture-in-picture break, Dante gets out of the hold. He grabs Lee with his left arm, but it gives way. Dante is up on the ropes and leaps on Lee who drops to the mat. He covers Lee, who kicks out at two. Dante then works on the back of Lee. Lee comes back and grabs the left arm of Dante and then stops on the hand of Dante. Lee drops Martin and applies the border city stretch. The ref checks on Martin, who makes it to the bottom rope to break the hold. Lee then picks up Dante and slams him hard to the mat. Lee hooks the legs of Martin for a pin attempt, but Martin kicks out at two. Martin comes back and connects with a big knee lift on Lee. Martin goes to the top rope. He comes down with a big splash on Lee and covers him to get the win.

Winner by pinfall: Dante Martin

After the match Shane Taylor and Anthony Ogogo hit the ring and take out Martin. Action Andretti and Darius Martin hit the ring to make the save, but it becomes too much. Lio Rush then walks down to the ring. He takes out Taylor and Ogogo. He sends Moriarty out of the ring! Shane Taylor promotions retreats as Lio looks on. Lio looks at Top Flight and Action. We a get nod from Dante.

We go to a video package featuring Hikura Shida who is officially entering the Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Cup Tournament.

-COMMERCIAL BREAK-

Back from the break, Roderick Strong is on commentary for our next match featuring Kyle O’Reilly.

Kyle O’Reilly vs. Anthony Henry

Both men lock up. Kyle takes down Henry. Both men walk around the ring. They lock up again. Henry picks up O’Reilly and drops him on his back. Henry has a wrist lock on Kyle, but he gets out of it. Kyle grabs the left arm of Henry and works on it. Henry then grabs O’Reilly and slams him on his back. Henry kicks the back of the head of O’Reilly, but it only fires up O’Reilly. Henry kicks O’Reilly, but he blocks then and sends Henry to the corner. O’Reilly grabs the left arm of Henry and drops him to the mat. O’Reilly pulls on it he has it wrapped up with his legs. Henry taps out to give O’Reilly the win.

Winner by submission: Kyle O’Reilly

The commentary team run down the current lineup for Wednesday’s Dynamite, followed by the Learning Tree segment for next week’s Collision.

Back from the break, the lights are out as the Bang Bang Gang are out first. Juice Robinson and The Gunns make their way down to the ring with limited lighting. The lights go out again for the entrance of the House of Black. Malakai, Buddy and Brody make their way down to the ring.

House of Black (Malakai Black, Buddy Matthews and Brody King) vs. Bang Bang Gang’s Austin Gunn, Colten Gunn and Juice Robinson

All six men stand in the ring as we get a stare down. Malakai and Juice start things off. Both men lock up as Juice sends Black down with a shoulder tackle. Both men stare at each other. Juice puts up his leg at Black. Black sends Juice down as Austin is tagged in. He then tags in Colten after Brody King is tagged in. The Gunns attempt to double team Brody, but he sends them down and then to the floor. Juice is in, but HOB sends him to the floor. The Gunns and Juice are back in the ring, but HOB sends them to the floor. The action spills to the floor, as we go to picture-in-picture.

Picture-In-Picture: The action continues on the floor. Buddy nails Colten with a back elbow. Brody works then charges at Juice and The Gunns and connects with a flying crossbody. Malakai tosses Colten into the ring…

Back from the full break, Malakai works on the left arm of Colten. Buddy tags in Black, who stomps on it from the top rope. Austin is tagged in, as he nails Black. Austin tags in Juice. Austin drops kicks Black. Juice covers Black for only a two count. Juice then drops Black and covers him, but Black kicks out at two. Austin is tagged in and hits Black with big right hands. Colten is tagged in. The Gunns double team Black. Juice is tagged in. Black tries to fight his way out of the corner. Juice then drops Black with a big spinning heel kick…Juice covers Black who kicks out at two…Malakai is down in the corner. Juice misses a running cannonball…Austin Gunn is tagged in. Malakai makes it to the corner to tag in Buddy Matthews. He takes out both Austin and Colten. He picks up Austin and drops him with a jackhammer and covers him, but Juice comes in to break it up. Buddy is up on the top and comes down, but Juice moves. Buddy lands hard on his left knee…Buddy tags in Brody King, as we have another picture-in-picture break.

Picture-In-Picture: Buddy is sent to the floor as the medical staff are checking on Buddy. Malakai looks on, as Brody takes down Colten. Juice and The Gunns are on the floor. The medical staff continue checking on Buddy’s knee. They pick up Buddy and help him up. He is unable to put weight on his left knee. The fans chant Buddy…Austin works on Brody in the corner. We have a three on two now. Juice kicks Brody and then blows snot on him. Juice then connects with a cannonball on Brody. Juice tags in Austin. Both Gunns are in as they double team Brody. He comes back and takes down Juice and The Gunns with clotheslines. Brody makes a tag to Malakai. He drops Austin and hits Colten with a leg sweep. Malakai then kicks Colten again and makes a pin attempt, but Colten kicks out. Juice distracts Malakai ads Colten then hits Malakai in the back of the head. Malakai goes down. Colten covers him for only a two count. Austin then drops Malakai with the famasser, but Malakai kicks out. We get a House of Black chant…Juice is up on the top rope…Pac comes out and sends Juice to the floor. Malakai then clocks Austin and covers him for the win.

Winners by pinfall: House of Black

After the match, we go to the big screen with Christian Cage congratulating HOB on becoming the new number one contender’s for the Unified World Trios Championships. Cage then says there is only one problem, they are not trios anymore. The camera then shows Buddy Matthews out cold on a chair lying on the floor. Cage then puts the painting of himself on Matthews, as the show comes to a close.

Even though storylines were furthered, this show still didn’t have a one year anniversary feel to it.
