Finally we get Collision after a delay…the intro begins as Saturday night is alright for fighting!
The pyro goes off in the arena as the crowd seems lively for being taped after Dynamite. Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness welcome us to the show.
Bobby Cruise is the announcer for this week as Dasha was released.
FTR is out first for the tag team title tournament match.
The brother team of Top Flight are out next.
The winners of this match will advance to the finals at Dynasty on April 21 in St. Louis, MO.
Tag Team Title Tournament SemiFinal Match: FTR vs. Top Flight
The bell rings as Dax Harwood and Darius Martin start off. Dax sends Darius down, who gets back up. Darius sends Dax to the mat as Dax talks with Cash Wheeler. Both men lock up as Dax takes down Darius who gets up quickly. Dax tags in Cash…Both men lock up as Cash works on the arm of Darius and he reverses the hold. Darius takes down Cash who then applies a side headlock on Darius, who gets out of it. Darius tags Dante as Cash gets out of the ring. The ref begins the ten count. Cash is back in and tags in Dax. Dax takes down Dante who is back up as Dante sends Dax to the mat with an arm drag take down. Dax is up as hits Dante with a shoulder block…Dante rolls Dax up, but he kicks out a two. Dante tags in Darius, but Dax nails him in the jaw, sending him to the mat. Dax tags in Cash as we get a double team by FTR on Darius. Cash slaps Darius and then chops him hard across the chest as Darius hits the mat. Cash then picks up Darius and slams him down. Cash misses the elbow drop as Darius tags in Dante. Dante is picked up by Cash and slams him down and then tags in Dax. Dax chops Darius and puts him on the top turnbuckle and hits him with a back elbow…Dante then rolls up Dax, but he kicks out at two! Cash comes in, but is met with a big drop kick by Dante. Top Flight double team FTR. Dante then sends FTR to the floor. Dante goes to the outside and rolls Dax in the ring. Dante then sends Cash back to the floor. Dante goes to the floor, but is dropped by Cash as we go to picture in picture.
Picture-In-Picture: Cash rolls Dante back in the ring and tags in Dax. FTR double team Dante. Dax picks up Dante, who then attempts to fight back…Dax then picks up Dante and drops him hard with a big spine buster. Cash is tagged in as FTR double team Dante. Cash stomps on Dante and sends him to the corner and tags in Dax, who chops Dante across the chest. Dax continues chopping Danite as both men are up on the top turnbuckle.
Back from Picture-In-Picture: Dax superplexes Dante who rolls us Dax for just a two count. Darius is tagged in who rolls up Dax for only a two count. Dax comes back and nails Darius and then chops him as Darius falls to his knees. Darius is up and fights back as he chops FTR. Darius kicks Cash off the apron as Darius rolls up Dax, who kicks out two! Cash is tagged as he kicks Darius in the head. Dax is tagged back in…Darius drops Dax with a flatliner and cover Dax, who kicks out at two! Top Flight attempt to double team FTR. Dante kicks Dax in the head as Dante is up on the top…Dante comes down, but Dax gets the knees up! Dax rolls up Dante who kicks out at two! Dax tags in Cash. Darius comes off the top rope with a big cross body on both members of FTR…Cash picks up Darius and drops him with a big brain buster. Dante then comes off the top rope and is dropped with a shatter machine as Cash covers him for the win.
FTR will now face the Young Bucks at Dynasty to crown new tag team champions.
WINNERS BY PINFALL: FTR
We get a video package featuring Kazuchika Okada.
The music of PAC hits as he comes out for our next match. Encore Moore is already in the ring.
PAC vs. Encore Moore
The bell rings and PAC goes right after Moore in the corner. PAC then sends Moore into the turnbuckles head first. Moore drops on the mat holding his back as PAC kicks Moore in the back and applies a big boot to the neck of Moore. PAC picks up Moore and drops him with a snap suplex and then delivers two more. PAC then picks up Moore and drops him with a big brain buster. Moore is up only to met with a big elbow to the face by PAC. Moore is down. PAC is up on the top turnbuckle, but comes down and applies a choke like hold on Moore, who quickly submits.
WINNER BY SUBMISSION: PAC
After the match, grabs a mic and says he has warned AEW that he is waiting for opportunities he deserves and will now take matters into his own hands. PAC says he is on a mission to show everyone he is best wrestling on planet earth. PAC calls out Kazuchika Okada and says that he doesn’t think Okada can survive a match against PAC and will wait for his response.
-COMMERCIAL BREAK-
Back from the break Renee is talking with Bryan Danielson about his match against Will Ospreay at Dynasty. Bryan says its about how far can he push himself. Bryan says Ospreay doesn’t quit. Bryan says he is not the same person as he was when he was 21. Renee asks Bryan about how much of this match is for him and not the fans…Bryan says as he goes through the journey of life, how does he want to live it. He says when he watches Ospreay he gets excited. Bryan says Jen Pepperman told him Ospreay is the best wrestler he has ever seen. (Different background tonight and not the usually interview format).
Hook’s music hits as the FTW Champion makes his way out to the ring. The Lionheart music hits as Chris Jericho is out next. Jericho comes out of the tunnel with purpose as the pyro goes off.
Shane Taylor’s music is up next as Taylor and Lee Moriarty come out next.
FTW Champion Hook and Chris Jericho vs. Shane Taylor and Lee Moriarty
The bell rings as Jericho and Taylor start off. Both men lock up as Shane sends Christ to the corner and headbutts Chris. Shane sends him to the corner and hits Jericho with rights and lefts in the mid-section. Jericho is sent to the opposite corner and takes down Taylor. Jericho tags in Hook as Jericho and Hook double team Taylor…Taylor is tagged in as Lee Moriarty takes down Hook and kicks him in the mid-section. Hook fires back and drops Lee. Jericho is tagged in as Jericho chops Moriarty. Moriarty recovers and kicks Jericho…Jericho then kicks Taylor, sending him down on the apron as we go to picture in picture…
Picture-In-Picture: Shane Taylor is tagged in. Shane grabs Jericho and sends him to the mat. Jericho tries to fight back as he chops Taylor, who then drops Jericho and covers him for only a two count. Taylor has Jericho in a headlock as the ref checks on Jericho.
Sling gives me a full commercial break at this point in the match.
-FULL COMMERCIAL BREAK-
Back form the full commercial break, Taylor picks up Jericho and drops him…Shane tags in Lee who comes up short with a drop kick…Jericho then drops Moriarty with a lionsault as Jericho makes the tag to Hook who clotheslines Lee and then sends him down with a big Judo throw. Hook covers Lee, but he kicks out a two. Shane Taylor is tagged in and attempts to pick up Jericho, but Hook takes him out and sends him to the floor. Hook tags in Jericho…Hook goes to the top rope and hits Taylor with a big double axe handle on the floor. Lee comes in and drops Jericho and applies a headlock…Jericho fights out of it and applies a lion tamer on Moriarty. Hook is as he grabs Moriarty, but Shane comes as Hook takes him out and tosses him out of the ring…Moriarty taps out. After the match Anthony Ogogo comes out of nowhere and takes out Jericho and Hook. Shane Taylor and Lee Moriarty recover and take out Hook who rolls to the floor. Taylor and Moriarty hold Jericho as Ogogo hits Jericho with a huge right hand. Taylor and Moriarty put the Shane Taylor flag over Jericho.
We go to a backstage vignette with Dustin Rhodes who says that he keeps hearing that he is under appreciated. He says that he is. Dustin talks about his dad coming home with the World Heavyweight Title and at the dinner table he holds this title. Dustin then says that 36 years later he has not the world heavyweight champion. Dustin then says to Samoa Joe that he is not obligated, but asks Joe to put the title on line against him…Dustin challenges Joe and asks him to put the title on the line at this Wednesday’s Dynamite.
-COMMERCIAL BREAK-
Back from the break we have Renee talking with Will Ospreay in that different format, which I like. Ospreay says the format wrestling style here is different, which is why he likes to be able to face Bryan Danielson. Opsreay says its an honor to be able to wrestle Danielson. He says to finally do this now that in the 21st century he is greatest wrestler ever produced. Renee asks how much is this for him or the fans…he says that he is here to prove he is the best wrestler in the 21st century.
Back in the arena, the likes go out House of Black are out next. Christopher Daniels, Matt Sydal and Bryan Keith are out next.
Trios Match: House of Black vs. Christopher Daniels, Matt Sydal and Bryan Keith
The bell rings and we are underway…Malakai Black and Bryan Keith start off…We get a lock up from both men. Black puts Keith in a headlock, but Keith counters it grabbing the arm of Black. Black sends Keith to the corner, but Keith fires back with forearm shots. Keith attempts a big kick, but Black grabs the foot and drops Black with an exploder. Keith covers Black for just a one count. Black tags in Brody King. Matt Sydal is tagged in and then tags in Christopher Daniels. Matt and Daniels double team King, who then sends Sydal and Daniels to the mat as we go to picture in picture.
Picture-In-Picture: King scoops up Daniels and slams him hard to the mat. King then picks up Daniels and chops him hard. King tags in Black who drop Daniels and then tags in Buddy Matthews. Matthews works on the arm of Daniels. Matthews continues to work on Daniels. Matthews tags in King who nails Daniels. King tags in Black who puts a headlock on Daniels. The ref checks on Daniels…
Back from Picture-In-Picture: Daniels rolls up Black for just a two count. Black tags in Matthews as Daniels tags in Sydal. Sydal then hits Matthews with a big elbow. Sydal then covers Matthews, who kicks out at two. Sydal then kicks Black, sending him off the apron to the floor. Matthews then hits Sydal in the jaw with a big knee lift. King is tagged in and Keith is tagged in…he kicks Matthews and then kicks King, but King fires back and drops him with a big lariat. King then kicks Keith and covers him, but Daniels breaks the pin attempt. Daniels is in, but is quickly sent to outside. Matthews nails Keith with a big knee and picks him up with pump handle and drops him hard…Matthew covers Keith to get the pin.
WINNERS BY PINFALL: HOUSE OF BLACK
After the match, Adam Copeland’s music hits as Black goes to the entrance looking for Copeland, who hits the ring and attacks King from behind, but HOB triple team Copeland…Mark Briscoe’s music hits as he and FTR comes out to make the save. The Young Bucks music hits as the two make their way out, but FTR runs down to the entrance area as FTR and the Bucks brawl…in the ring, Copeland spears King…FTR take out the Bucks and then enter the ring as Black and King retreat…Matthew Jackson is in the ring, but Nicholas pulls his brother out of harms way…House of Black look on…the Bucks look on…
We go backstage with Lexy Nair talking with Rocky Romero. He says that he has yet to win a title…he understands the ranking system…he asks for a title eliminator against Roderick Strong…Strong and the ROH tag champs and Wardlow come in…Strong says that he will beat Romero.
-COMMERCIAL BREAK-
Back from the break Lexy Nair is talking with Chris Jericho and Hook…Jericho says he welcomes the challenge with Shane Taylor promotions and says he has a third partner in Katsuyori Shibata.
Trish Adora is out first, followed by Yuka Sakazaki.
Yuka Sakazaki vs. Trish Adora
The bell rings as both women lock up. Adora works on the arm of Yuka…Adora puts Yuka in a headlock. The hold is broken as Adora drops Yuka with a big shoulder block. Yuka is up and sends Adora to the mat with a big lariat and covers her for just a two count…we go to picture in picture…
Picture-In-Picture: Adora grabs the arms of Yuka and works on the leg of Yuka…Adora makes a pin attempt, but Yuka kicks out and rolls to the floor. Adora then goes to the outside and chops Yuka. Adora tries to send Yuka back in the ring, but Yuka counters it…Adora finally sends Yuka back in the ring…Yuka is on the ropes and has a headlock on Adora using the ropes.
Sling gives me a full commercial break at this point in the match.
Back from the break, Adora has a cross face on Yuka. Yuka crawls to the ropes and makes it, as the hold is broken. Yuka is on the apron and kicks Adora. Yuka then comes off the top rope and hits Adora with a big drop kick. Yuka covers Adora for only a two count. Adora tries to suplex Yuka, but she fights it off. Yuka tries to suplex Adora who reverses it. Yuka is up and hits Adora with big elbows to the face. Adora picks up Yuka and slams here down, but she is up as Yuka slams Adora. Both women are down…Adora then picks up Yuka for a suplex. Adora them picks up Yuka and drops her and covers her, but Yuka kicks out…Yuka then slam Adora hard to the mat. Yuka is up on the ropes and comes down with a big splash on Adora to get the pin.
WINNER BY PINFALL: YUKA SAKAZAKI
After the match Serena Deeb’s music hits as she comes out, but we go to a backstage segment with Matt Menard and Daniel Garcia saying that Garcia is not even in his prime. Menard says he wants more. Garcia says he is 25 and is no longer a rookie. He talks about others in AEW who are some of the greatest wrestlers he has seen in his entire life.
Back in the arena, Claudio Catagnoli is out next. The Butcher is out next.
Claudio Castagnoli vs. The Butcher
The bell rings as both men lock up. Claudio has Butcher against the ropes as we get a clean break. Butcher puts Claudio in a headlock and then bites him in the forehead. Claudio then comes back, sending Butcher to the mat…Claudio scoops up Butcher and slams him down and then hits him with a double stomp. As Butcher is up, Claudio hits him with a big uppercut. Butcher recovers and nails Claudio in the back of the head. Butcher then has Claudio in a chin lock. Claudio breaks the hold…Claudio fires back with big forearms, but the Butcher picks up Claudio and hits a back breaker…Butcher has Claudio in a head lock as Claudio picks up Butcher and drops him with a big death valley driver. Claudio then hits Butcher with several uppercuts…Claudio then drops Butcher with a big lariat. Claudio calls for the swing! Claudio picks up Butcher and swings him as the fans count…Claudio then picks up Butcher and plants him face first to get the pin.

Back from the break, Samoa Joe says that people in AEW has a different perception…Joe asks Dustin Rhodes why he is not standing here…Joe says that he does not posses fear of him (Joe). Joe says he doesn’t deserve a title opportunity. Joe then says if Dustin beats him he will make him number 1 contender.
Penta is out first. Komander is out next.
Penta El Zero Miedo vs. Komander
The bell rings as the match is underway. Both men lock up. Penta kicks Komander and makes a pin attempt. Penta tries to again to pin Komander who is up…Komander puts out his hand for a handshake, but Penta refuses. Komander charges at Penta who counters it. Both men run at the ropes, as Penta hits Komander with a drop kick. Penta then chops Komander hard across the chest. Penta then sends Komander to the ropes as Komander sends Penta to the floor. Komander runs to and leaps over the ropes, but is caught by Penta who picks up Komander and drops him hard to the floor. Penta kicks Komander as we go to to picture in picture…
Picture-In-Picture: Komander is down as Penta rolls back in the ring to break the ten count and rolls back out…Penta sends Komander back in the ring. Penta picks up Komander and then kicks him in the face. Komander tries to fight back, but Penta sends him to mat with a huge chop to the chest. Penta picks up Komander and then kicks him hard as Komander drops to the mat…
Back from Picture-In-Picture: Komander takes down Penta who rolls to the floor. Komander runs the ropes and rolls through ropes, hitting Penta. Penta is back in the ring…Komander comes off the ropes, only to met by a big drop kick. Penta then drops Komander with a huge Canadian Destroyer. Penta picks up Komander, but he rolls up Penta for only a two count. Komander grabs the leg of Penta and pulls on the right leg and knee of Penta, who gets his hand on the bottom rope to break the hold. Penta kicks Komander in the head. Penta comes up, but is dropped by Komander with big Spanish Fly. Komander covers Penta for only a two count. Komander is on the apron…Penta then hits a big Canadian Destroyer on Komander on the apron as he rolls to the floor. Penta goes to the outside as Komander drops Penta…the ref starts the ten count as both men make it back in before the ten count…both men slug it out with forearms…Penta then chops Komander, who then jabs Penta…Komander runs against the ropes as Penta kicks him. Penta picks up Komander and slams him down…Penta covers Komander for only a two count. Komander is up on the top rope…Penta is on the second rope, but Komander shifts and sends Penta to the mat and hits Penta with a tornado splash…Komander covers Penta, but he kicks out at two! Komander then sends Penta to the floor with a big drop kick! Komander then hits Penta with a big moonsault on the floor. Penta is back in the ring…Komander is up on the ropes and comes down, but Penta counters and picks up Komander and drops him for the pin.
WINNER BY PINFALL: PENTA EL ZERO MIEDO
After the match, Adam Copeland is out on the entrance ramp, as Penta challenges Copeland for the TNT Title on Wednesday’s Dynamite…the show goes off the air.
