It’s Saturday night, an awfully good night for some fightin’ and collidin’ if ya ask me!
Time will tell if the dual tunnels will be used every week on Collision, but is being used tonight as Bryan Danielson’s music hits, signaling the arrival of the American Dragon for our opening contest! Out next is Shane Taylor accompanied by Shane Taylor Promotions, the former ROH Television Champion eager to make a statement against the former ROH World Champion as this match gets underway!
Bryan Danielson vs. Shane Taylor
Shane uses his power to his advantage at the outset, shoving Danielson to the corner before shouting him down. The two lock up before Taylor sends the American Dragon back to the corner, continuing the attack as he keeps shouting at Bryan in reference to his match in 2022 against Lee Moriarty.
We end up in a test of strength, with Taylor quickly getting the upper hand until Danielson escapes, trying to take Shane down before landing some hammer and elbows! The two circle the canvas now…until Taylor catches a big strike on the jaw of Danielson! Bryan takes to the corner, where Shane cracks him with a chop before following up in the opposite corner…but Danielson escapes after, landing some hard kicks!
But Taylor turns it around, until the two end up in the middle of the ring once more…only for Bryan to use the ropes to wear the leg of Taylor down. Now it’s Bryan Danielson in control, some hard hits on Taylor in the corner…but Shane turns it around, eventually sending the American Dragon out of the ring as we go to picture-in-picture!
Picture-in-Picture: Taylor continues the attack, wearing Danielson down against the barricade before bringing him back into the ring for more damage. Moriarty occasionally gets involved before Taylor has Danielson set up on the apron before we come back!
Taylor lands a big leg drop on Danielson, sandwiching him against the apron! Shane sends him into the corner now, running him down verbally as he lays in some strikes. Taylor looks to continue this, but Danielson escapes…and evades a running splash in the corner from Taylor! Bryan sets his leg up against the ring post now, slamming it against the steel as the ref struggles to maintain order.
Taylor slowly gets to his feet as Danielson goes up top, looking for a missile dropkick…but Shane blocks it! Bryan’s back up now, landing some hard kicks to the leg of Taylor…and eventually taking him off his feet! Another series of kicks ends with one square in the face before Bryan goes for the cover….BUT TAYLOR KICKS OUT AT ONE!
Shane back to his feet in the corner, but is cut off by a set of running kicks from the American Dragon…who takes a massive lariat by Taylor! Cover by Shane…but it’s Bryan who kicks out this time!
Shane is back on the attack with some right hands before dropping Danielson, following up with a big splash for the cover…but Danielson kicks out again!
Bryan sets up for the Busaiku Knee but gets caught by Taylor, only to escape his grasp for some more kicks…and charges at him for the Busaiku Knee to pick up the pin and the win!

The celebration is cut short as Will Ospreay makes his way to the ring, clearly looking to respond after Bryan did the same at the end of Dynamite. Ospreay enters with a big smile on his face, soaking in the adulation before getting a microphone.
Will asks for another mic as he wants to have a chat. He gives props for the match we just saw, showing some respect for Danielson while acknowledging the “Ospreay” chants ringing throughout the arena. Will has noticed a lot of things in the short time he’s been here, including the level of respect people have for Bryan Danielson.
He talks about how inspiring Bryan is to everyone here in AEW, and on behalf of everyone Will thanks Danielson for everything he’s done. Hmmm…but, you interrupted Will Ospreay during the main event of Dynamite. Will’s got this feeling that maybe, just maybe, Bryan Danielson has something he wants to ask.
Bryan says that’s about half right, he has something to ask and also something to say. First, he welcomes Will Ospreay to AEW. He says that people have talked about how good Will Ospreay is…and Bryan wants to give him a chance to prove it. He challenges Ospreay to a match at AEW Dynasty…and Ospreay says yes, bruv!
The two shake hands as Bryan’s music hits. Will shows some more respect as he leaves the ring, before we go to break.
-Commercial Break-
Back at ringside, The Young Bucks make their way to the ring for our next contest as their opponents are already in the ring. As they head toward the ring, Matthew teases a coin toss that leads to the coins dropping…signaling the arrival of the Rainmaker, as Okada heads to the ring next. Okada makes his debut as part of the “new Elite” as this trios match gets underway!
The Young Bucks & Kazuchika Okada vs. Jon Cruz, Liam Gray & Adrian Alanis
We start off with Nicholas and Jon Cruz to start things off…but Okada reaches his hand out for a tag. Nicholas obliges as the showd show a level of appreciation. Okada locks up with Cruz, taking him to the ropes before dropping him with a pancake! Tag made to Alanis, but Okada wears him down right away before sending him into the ring post!
Okada mocks Gray who tags in for a shot of his own against Okada…which goes south real quick, as he gets laid out with a Rainmaker for a quick pin and the win!

There is little time for celebration as Eddie Kingston comes running down for revenge from Dynamite! The Elite start to fight him off as Penta makes his way to the ring to even things up, but Okada quickly fights him back. Okada grabs the Continental Crown title and stands over Kingston with it…until PAC comes down next! PAC has returned to AEW and he makes a beeline for The Elite, running the Bucks out of the ring before standing up to Okada.
There’s a height difference between the two, but that matters very little as they start trading strikes until PAC takes the Rainmaker down! The Bucks take him out of the ring for the save as PAC gets a microphone, letting them know that he’s back before promising that if they want some, they will reap what they sow. Kingston has the mic now, making a challenge for a six-man tag match next Wednesday at Big Business!

Back at ringside, Mariah May (dressed as the old Toni Storm) makes her way to the ring for our next match as Trish Adora is already in the ring before this match gets underway!
Mariah May vs. Trish Adora
May gets an early advantage on Adora, but Trish battles her way to the upper hand taking Mariah to the canvas for a modified armbar. May manages to get back in control however, taking Adora out of the ring as we go to picture-in-picture!
Picture-in-Picture: May continues the offense on Trish, taking a second to appreciate a fan sign about wanting to be Mariah’s ex-husband. May brings Adora back into the ring to keep on the attack…as the feed goes to a full commercial. Thanks, TNT!
-Commercial Break-
Back from break, Adora gets back in the swing of things as she takes May down hard before hitting a senton splash for the cover…only for Mariah to kick out!
Adora hits a suplex from her knees to catch May by surprise, but this still ends up with a nearfall…and May hits a knee strike followed by the Mayday for the pin and the win!

“Timeless” Toni Storm makes her way to the stage, the butler Luther holding a ceremonial shoe as Storm presents the first-ever Toni Award (with an I so we don’t get sued). The award is for best performance, and the nomination goes to Mariah May for being Toni Storm. As the champ struggles with the envelope, we find out the award goes to…Mariah May!
Storm and Luther make their way down the ramp to present the award until Deonna Purrazzo shows up to blindside the champion! But the attack doesn’t last long as May drops Deonna with a DDT onto the ramp, taunting the Virtuosa with a shoe before Storm sets her foot down on her chest to show her dominance.
Video Package: Riho vs Kris Statlander at Dynamite highlights the issue between Statlander and Stokely Hathaway, and Willow has her sights set on Julia Hart and the TBS Champion after she faces Riho next week!
-Commercial Break-
Back at ringside, The Patriarchy head down the ramp for our next match as Nick Wayne takes on Adam Priest who is in the ring as this match gets underway!
Nick Wayne vs. Adam Priest
Nick gets the advantage over Priest early on with a flurry of offense, with Priest starting to fight back before he gets sent to the outside by the Prodigy. Wayne runs around the ring to get back on the attack, but is sent back in the ring as Killswitch looks to get involved. That proves to be a distraction giving Wayne an opening, as he sends Priest back in the ring for a fisherman’s suplex! He sends Priest into the ropes for more damage until the ref admonishes him…and then sets up for the Wayne’s World for the pin and the win!
Winner via pinfall: Nick Wayne
Cage seems to be dealing with a rogue masked fan as he rips a sign out of his hands…only for the fan to strike back, pulling him over the barricade! A quick beatdown later and the fan unmasks to reveal Adam Copeland! Copeland heads to the ring with a box, unveiling…something, though it’s unclear except that Cage ends up backing off. He regroups with the Patriarchy as Copeland sets the tone for their upcoming match by having the crowd finish his sentence reminding us that match will be an I Quit match!
Backstage, there is clear dissension between Mark Briscoe and Jeff Jarrett ahead of the Atlanta Street Fight tonight, but they seem to promise to settle their differences for tonight to take on House of Black!
Back at ringside, “Lionheart” Chris Jericho heads to the ring for our next match. Out next is CMLL star Titan, and this match gets underway!
Lionheart Chris Jericho vs. CMLL star Titan
Jericho takes Titan down at the outset, wearing him down with holds as Titan fights back with his agility. We end in something of a standoff before Titan lays in some chops, only for Jericho to send the luchador into the corner for some of his own. Titan quickly fights this off with a flying kick to the face, using the ropes for a big hurricanrana!
Jericho heads to the outside, but that only leads to a big dive through the ropes from Titan sending him to the floor! Both men back to their feet now, trading strikes until Titan sends Jericho into the steel steps and then into the ring. Titan goes up top but is countered by Jericho for the cover…but Titan gets his foot on the ropes as we go to picture-in-picture!
Picture-in-Picture: Jericho stays on the attack, wearing the luchador down before sending Titan into the bottom rope! From there he sends Titan to the corner, but the luchador starts fighting back with some strikes of his own…until Jericho levels him with a big boot as we come back from break!
Jericho soon finds himself in a bad way as Titan fights back, once again using his agility to good purpose…but Jericho turns it right back around, setting up for a Liontamer! But Titan fights out! Jericho drops the luchador down hard for a cover, but Titan kicks out!
Titan’s back on his feet now, lifting the Ocho up for a Death Valley Bomb…but Jericho kicks out! The luchador sets up for another hurricanrana, but it gets countered into the Walls of Jericho! Titan taps out!
Winner via submission: “Lionheart” Chris Jericho
There is no celebration here as the Gates of Agony rush in, blindsiding Jericho for a beatdown until HOOK arrives with a kendo stick! He cracks Liona on the back with the stick to fend him off, keeping him at bay as the Gates regroup outside the ring.
-Commercial Break-
Back at ringside, Tony Schiavone talks about AEW’s tag division and the upcoming tag tournament for the vacated titles before welcoming FTR to the ring, the former AEW World Tag Team Champions arriving to a big pop from the crowd. Cash Wheeler talks about Revolution not going the way they wanted it to, saying all they can do is get up, dust themselves off, and move forward.
We’re at ten years of FTR, and they’ve done their fair share of the three over that time. FTR enter their names into the tournament, and Dax talks about Collision being built on the back of a great tag division. It’d be easy to say FTR are the greatest of all time, that they will easily take the tournament and the gold…but Dax ain’t a liar. They all have self-doubt, and Dax has his about FTR deserving to be in the tournament…but if they’ll let them, FTR will do what they can to prove themselves again to be the first-ever three-time tag champs. Top guys…out.
Or maybe not, brother, because The Infantry make their way to the ramp. They ask what’s good, they hate to interrupt but they wanted to introduce themselves. They hype themselves up as they head to the ring, giving a shout out to Atlanta. They jokingly say they almost didn’t get here tonight because it was half-off at Magic City, before showing their respect for the former champs. When it comes to this tournament, may the best team win.
They shake hands as they explain…that they’re coming for both of the top guys’ spots. They joke about the tag division needing a revival, but Dax says the revival is dead…and if they’re across the ring from FTR, so will The Infantry. Top guys…out.

CMLL’s Mistico makes his way to the ring for our next match, followed by Angelico before this match gets underway!
CMLL star Mistico vs. Angelico
We start off with an exchange of hold between the two men, with Mistico showing off his agility to escape…but Angelico catches him with his own flying to end things on a standoff! They circle the canvas now, Angelico taking the luchador down before Mistico takes him down…only for Angelico to call for a timeout!
That only causes some trouble for the former AAA star however, as Mistico manages to get the better of him once again as we go to picture-in-picture!
Picture-in-Picture: Angelico gets back into it, wearing down the luchador until the feed turns into a full commercial break. Thanks again, TNT!
-Commercial Break-
Back from break it’s Mistico in control now, sending Angelico to the ropes for a tiger feint kick before sending him out of the ring…and then cutting off an intervening Serpentico with a dive through the ropes! Mistico heads out of the ring for a kick on Angelico, bringing him back into the ring for a corkscrew senton for a nearfall. Mistico climbs up top for a diving senton this time, but once again Angelico kicks out!
Mistico back up top for a moonsault but Angelico evades, catching the luchador for a La Magistral but it’s only a nearfall…and Mistico rolls him up for a nearfall of his own! Double ax handle by Angelico, sending the luchador into the corner…but Mistico fights back! Only it’s Angelico who gets the upper hand…until Mistico knocks him down with a kick!
Both men are down, but quickly get back up. La Mistica gets countered, but Mistico hits a cross body. He takes Angelico down with a headscissors and rolls him up for a nearfall…and follows up with La Mistica, locking in that armbar to force a tapout by Angelico!
Winner via submission: Mistico
Serpentico shows some protest but Angelico shows some respect with a handshake, and the snake of the duo calms down as Mistico raises both men’s arm out of respect before we go to break.
-Commercial Break-
We’re back at ringside for our main event, as House of Black make their way to the ring first for this Atlanta Street Fight! They arrive at the ring as the question of trust once again comes up for Mark Briscoe and Jeff Jarrett. Briscoe comes out first, and is quickly followed by Lethal and Jarrett, the latter holding plunder as this match quickly gets underway!
Atlanta Street Fight: The House of Black (Malakai Black, Brody King and Buddy Matthews) vs. Mark Briscoe, Jay Lethal & Jeff Jarrett
Chaos on the outside as Briscoe goes after Malakai in the ring, but that soon spills to the outside. Jarrett nails Buddy with a chair as Lethal goes for a table. Briscoe follows suit but Black goes after him, as Lethal and Jarrett try to go to his rescue…only for Brody to set Jay up in a chair against the barricade. Brody charges at him, but Lethal evades King in the nick of time as Brody crashes into the barricade!
Briscoe and Matthews go at it now as Lethal and Jarret go after King…only for Malakai to intervene! Big elbow shot by Brody on Lethal, who lands on the table…just as Brody comes crashing in, sending Jay through the table!
Buddy and Mark go at it on the top turnbuckle now as Briscoe sends Matthews onto the table on the outside…but Brody intercepts, throwing Mark off into a stack of chairs on the floor outside as we go to picture-in-picture!
Picture-in-Picture: House of Black are in control of the match now, wearing down all three of their foes as they take Briscoe out through the table before focusing on Lethal and Jarrett as we come back from break!
Brody’s setting Jarrett up for a powerbomb but that’s not all…because Buddy Matthews has lighter fluid he puts onto the table! Malakai’s got the lighter on hand, and Sonjay Dutt’s attempt to use a guitar on Brody hits a flat note! Buddy stalks him up the ramp, where Dutt gets caught by Julia Hart on the stage with a canister of gasoline!
Buddy takes the canister and pours the gasoline over Dutt, but Julia’s attempt to set Sonja ablaze is cut off by Karen Jarrett! Buddy gets sent flying as Julie goes after Dutt, but Karen stops her…only to take black mist to the eyes by the TBS Champion!
Back at ringside, Lethal and Jarrett go back on the offense as they go after Malakai and Brody…but the latter uses his power to great advantage with some hard strikes on Lethal on the apron! Jay fights back until Brody locks in a rear naked choke on Lethal to knock him out! Brody turns around…and takes a gnarly guitar shot from Jarrett, sending him through the table at ringside! Jarrett gets caught by Malakai however, calling for The End!
Malakai’s got a railroad spike now…but Briscoe stops him, hitting the Jay Driller to take him down! Julia tries to intervene to no avail, as Briscoe sends Malakai to the outside…but a dive gets caught by Malakai and Matthews who powerbomb him onto the apron! And then, they grab the lighter and set the table on fire…before driving Briscoe through the flaming table!
They send Mark back in the ring, ultimately scoring the pin and the win!
Winners via pinfall: House of Black
The group retreats to the ramp in celebration, while officials and medics check on Briscoe as the show comes to a close.
