The neck surgery that TNA star Hernandez recently underwent has been described as being pretty serious reports The Wrestling Observer Newsletter. TNA ran an angle two weeks ago on Impact with Hernandez being attacked by the new British heel stable involving Brutus Magnus, Doug Williams and Rob Terry. Hernandez’s official website initially stated he would be out of action for 6 to 9 months, while media reports that soon followed said it would be more along the lines of 3 to 4 months. We are now hearing the surgery was serious enough that it will keep him out of action for at least a good 9 months unless he progresses quicker than expected. It should be noted that he did not get the neck fusion surgery that many WWE stars have undergone in the past.
