– WWE World Heavyweight Champion Edge walked out and proved at Judgment Day why he was the dominant force on Smackdown by beating Jeff Hardy. Smackdown GM Teddy Long came out and disagreed bringing up the interference by Matt Hardy and booking a rematch for Extreme Rules. They booked a main event between the two where the winner could decide the stipulation for their match at Extreme Rules.
– John Morrison & Cryme Tyme defeated Shelton Benjamin, Charlie Haas & Ricky Ortiz when Morrison pinned Haas.
– Michelle McCool defeated Gail Kim to become the #1 contender for the WWE Women’s Title.
– CM Punk defeated Chris Jericho via DQ when Umaga interfered. Umaga beat up Punk with a strap and challenged Punk to a Strap match at Extreme Rules.
– Dolph Ziggler defeated R-Truth.
– Rey Mysterio vs. Chris Jericho for the WWE Intercontinental Title in a No Holds Barred match is booked for Extreme Rules.
– Jeff Hardy defeated WWE World Heavyweight Champion Edge in a non-title match. After the match, Todd Grisham asked Jeff what stipulation he has picked for the title match at Extreme Rules and Jeff picks a Ladder match.
– Post-Taping Dark Match: WWE Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio defeated Chris Jericho in a Steel Cage match.
