It should be noted that Barnett was flagged by USADA back in December after failing an out-of-competition drug test stemming from a screening held on December 9, 2016 according to a report by MMAFighting.com. Barnett last fought at UFC Fight Night on September 3 defeating Andre Arlovski and currently holds a 34-8 record in MMA. USADA has yet to publicly reveal the substance that Barnett tested positive for in December.
