Last night’s 9/12 WWE RAW drew an average audience of 2.70 million viewers on Monday night according to a report by Showbuzzdaily.com.
This is down from last week’s Labor Day show that drew 3.06 million viewers. It was not a good night for WWE as all three hours drew below three million viewers. WWE also saw viewers tune out the show as it progressed through the three hours.
Monday Night Football on ESPN dominated the night on cable averaging 12.961 million viewers (Steelers/Redskins) and 10.252 million viewers (Rams/49ers). It ended up as one of the lowest viewed episodes of RAW since October of 1996 per The Wrestling Observer.
Hourly breakdowns were as follows.
Hour 1: 2.833 million viewers (down from 3.350 million viewers last week)
Hour 2: 2.717 million viewers (down from 3.066 million viewers)
Hour 3: 2.520 million viewers (down from 2.792 million viewers)
RAW, headlined by WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens vs. Roman Reigns, averaged a 0.91 rating on Monday night among adults 18-49. This is down from last week’s 1.07.
