In regards to Jeff Jarrett and his future with TNA Wrestling, no one seems to know anything for certain among staff and wrestlers. The word making the rounds is that when he does return he will be brought back as a wrestler, but with no front office power. This seems to be further confirmed courtesy of a report by The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that stated Pat Kenney (Simon Diamond) was offered his old job back as an agent with TNA, but turned it down as he specifically asked about Jarrett and was told Jarrett would only be a wrestler. There was also a report by Steve Gerweck of Gerweck.net this week claiming that according to a strong TNA source, the Carter family had already purchased Jarrett’s remaining shares in the company. Either way, Jarrett coming in as a wrestler and being there without power will undoubtedly cause for a strange locker room atmosphere. More is expected to be known about the future direction of the company starting with the Hard Justice PPV this Sunday and the Impact TV tapings that will follow.
