WWE.com is featuring an article noting that Roman Reigns made a surprise return at the 7/22 WWE live event in Newark, Delaware on Friday night just two nights before the WWE Battleground PPV this Sunday night in Washington, DC.
WWE’s official Twitter account posted a video clip of Reigns confronting Seth Rollins and WWE Champion Dean Ambrose following the close of the main event. Reigns will headline Battleground on Sunday against both Ambrose and Rollins.
Reigns has been off WWE television since June 20, just one day before he was suspended for 30 days for violating the company’s Talent Wellness Policy (his first violation).
