Don West has been let go as an announcer for TNA. Taz will be replacing him on the commentary team joining Mike Tenay from this point forward. According to reports, West isn’t entirely done with TNA though as he reportedly received a promotion and has been moved upwards within the company’s merchandising end.
We can also confirm that TNA President Dixie Carter informed the TNA roster that the company has signed a new three-year deal with Spike TV to continue airing Impact. There is no word at this time if the company was able to obtain any new additional programming hours with the new deal. An official announcement from TNA and Spike TV is expected tomorrow.
