WWE changes stance on Tammy “Sunny” Sytch, finances recent rehab, Sytch celebrates 90 days of sobriety

Tammy "Sunny" Sytch

TMZ.com has a new article up on Sunday about the fact that WWE has recently changed their stance on WWE Hall of Famer Tammy “Sunny” Sytch, financing Sytch’s last two months of treatment for her to deal with past alcohol issues to the tune of $80,000.

In February 2013, WWE had made an edict where they had cut Sytch off from assistance via their Wellness Policy after Sytch’s numerous arrests in 2012, failures in completing several trips to rehab and publicly ripping WWE for where they sent her for treatment on a shoot interview with Kayfabe Commentaries. Sytch entered a treatment center with WWE’s assistance back in March and is said to be “extremely grateful” for WWE’s help.

Sytch is scheduled for sentencing on July 3 in Pennsylvania for multiple DUI arrests that took place in 2015 that she plead guilty to, with the presiding judge dismissing the lesser charges in her cases, but noting that there is mandatory prison terms on two of Sytch’s three DUI cases. Sytch can also be subject to house arrest following her prison terms if approved for Pennsylvania’s Intermediate Prisoner Program.
