LocalMemphis.com is reporting that WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler and Lauryn McBride (Lawler’s fiance) were both released on bail from the Shelby County Jail in Memphis, Tennessee this afternoon.
Both Lawler and McBride were booked into the Shelby County Jail at 1:00 a.m. on Friday morning after getting into a domestic dispute at Lawler’s home in East Memphis. Lawler spoke with WMC Action News 5 disputing claims over his arrest in a police statement.
As reported earlier, Lawler and McBride have a scheduled court date this Monday morning at 8:30 a.m. local time. Lawler has been “suspended indefinitely” by WWE following his arrest citing “zero tolerance for matters involving domestic violence.”
