ESPN posted the following on Twitter on Thursday announcing that WWE star John Cena will host the 2016 ESPY Awards on July 13 from Los Angeles, California.

This appeared to stem from the working partnership between WWE and ESPN over the course over the last year with WWE stars appearing on Sportscenter with former WWE commentator Jonathan Coachman.
