WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka took part in a competency hearing on Friday in Lehigh County where a psychologist revealed he is currently battling dementia. Snuka was charged last September with third-degree murder and involuntary manslaughter of his then girlfriend Nancy Argentino.
A psychologist described Snuka as a “shell of a man” and “worsening by the month” regarding his current mental state. Snuka’s defense team argued a few months ago that he was unfit to stand trial due to his current mental health issues and that doing so would “cause a severe erosion of his emotional state.”
Judge Kelly L Banach was scheduled to hear from mental health experts hired by the prosecution and wasn’t expected to make a ruling on Friday.
