WWE star Adam Rose (Raymond Leppan) was arrested early Wednesday morning in Hillsborough County in Florida at 1:30 a.m. Eastern for two charges of tampering with a witness and battery domestic violence according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.
Leppan is currently serving a 60-day suspension from WWE for his second violation of the Wellness Policy, a violation Leppan was quick to defend posting a note from his doctor on his Twitter noting that he did nothing wrong and was undergoing treatment for adult ADHD.
WWE has yet to comment on Leppan’s comments since his suspension was announced, nor his arrest earlier this morning.
WWE, however, has stated the following on their corporate website regarding their policy with their contracted performers and domestic violence:
“WWE has zero tolerance for matters involving domestic violence, child abuse and sexual assault. Upon arrest for such misconduct, a WWE talent will be immediately suspended. Upon conviction for such misconduct, a WWE talent will be immediately terminated.”
