Cody Hall, son of WWE Hall of Famer Scott Hall, had a very serious injury scare during today’s New Japan Pro Wrestling Invasion Attack event in Tokyo, Japan at Sumo Hall.
Hall, who wasn’t wrestling in a match, was one of six people on the floor when Nick Jackson of The Young Bucks executed a swanton off a balcony of the building. Jackson was described as mostly landing on Hall and it didn’t appear anything went wrong. Hall didn’t move and was later carried out on a stretcher.
Matt Jackson revealed on Twitter that Hall will be okay and that he didn’t suffer a concussion or any fractures. At this point it is believed that Hall just suffered a serious stinger. The match also featured Kenny Omega, Hiroshi Tanahashi, Michael Elgin and Yoshitatsu. Scott Hall sent out numerous tweets on Sunday keeping people updated about Cody’s health, including a photo of Cody on a stretcher at the New Japan event.
We just left the hospital. @Cody_Hall1 is going to be okay. No fractures. No concussion. But he’s pretty banged up. He sends his love.
