TNA Executive VP of Television and Talent Relations John Gaburick announced on Friday that Shane Helms has reached a new multi-year agreement with Impact Wrestling to continue his behind the scenes role working with TNA talent.
Helms also issued the following about it.
“This wasn’t a tough decision at all, @impactwrestling is where I want to be. To all the ‘company’ fans out there, I respect your perceived loyalty but the letters that matter most to me are W-R-E-S-T-L-I-N-G. I look forward to the challenge of ‘Guiding’ the X-Division back to glory. I look forward to the opportunity to keep working with a locker room that is faced with (unfairly so) unseen enemies yet continues defiantly, despite this, to put out the best complete overall professional wrestling show on TV. Not just one style, or one speed, this roster has a little something for everybody. Some you’ll love, some you’ll hate, but reserve judgment until you actually watch the show. It’s a new fresh start for Impact Wrestling, come grow with us. And as for me, love me or hate me, no one can fairly say that I haven’t earned my spot. I’ll give 100% of what I got until there’s nothing left to give. I always have. Thank you to everyone that’s supported me. First match in 1991, and another new contract in 2016 … WHASSUPWITDAT??”
