We see video highlighting last week’s NXT TakeOver: Unstoppable live special.
We see the usual intro, then commentary welcomes us to the show.
Sami Zayn’s music hits, but out walks NXT Champion Kevin Owens, wearing a John Cena T-Shirt. Owens makes his way to the ring, mocking Zayn, and has a mic. We see video of Owens attacking John Cena this past Monday on RAW.
Owens says that he was gonna come out here and issue a NXT Open Challenge, but he is not an insecure man and I don’t have to defend my title against anyone to prove myself. I like when earn their matches against me. Owens acknowledges the pocket of the crowd clapping for him, saying its very cute. Crowd sings “John Cena Sucks.” Owens says that the odd thing is that the crowd never chants “Sami Zayn Sucks” when he does too. Crowd boos that. Owens says that recently, someone called him a bad person and that is not true. The fact is, I am a good man. For example, I’m a good man because that was the last time we will ever have to hear that horrendous theme song because of what I did at TakeOver. I don’t understand why people are surprised at what I did at TakeOver because I did exactly what I said I would do. I don’t understand why people are upset at what I did to Sami Zayn. First of all, Sami Zayn asked for the match and when he did, I said that I would take him out. Well, he showed up and I took him out. The only reason I did was so I could keep the NXT Title and keep providing for my family and that is the essence of what a good man is. You want another example of why I’m a good person? When Samoa Joe walked out on that ramp and this place exploded, I chose to let you live in that moment. I’ve heard people say that I backed down because I’m scared of Samoa Joe, well, that statement is as ridculous as the colors of John Cena’s merchandise. The reason I backed down from Samoa Joe is because I wanted to give you all a postive note to go home to, after what I did to Sami Zayn because the fact is, I could have dropped Samoa Joe (snaps fingers) like that. If Samoa Joe steps in the same ring with me again, I will drop him (snaps fingers) like that. “We Want Joe” chants by the crowd. Owens says that Elimination Chamber, he will show John Cena that the real champ is here.
NXT GM William Regal’s hits and he makes his way to the ring with a mic.
Regal says that Owens is walking a thin line.
Owens says that before Regal says anything about the headbutt, you put your hands on me first.
Regal says that is the only reason why Owens still works here. In the last 6 months you have been here, there’s been several NXT superstars stretchered out of here. Alex Riley, Neville, Hideo Itami…..
Owens cuts off Regal, saying he can’t deny the others, but he swears he had nothing to do with Itami.
Regal says that of course Owens didn’t, dear boy. As well as Sami Zayn.
Owens again cuts Regal off, saying that Zayn asked for the match and I told him exactly what was gonna happen, so that’s on him. Quite frankly, on you too, because you made the match, so don’t put that on me, I did what I had to do.
Solomon Crowe’s music hits and he makes his way to the ring with a mic.
Crowe says that he’s sorry, but he can’t listen to this garbage any longer. I heard something real interesting while I was sitting in the back, that Owens won’t fight anyone unless they earn it.
Owens mocks Crowe’s voice, saying he’s right.
Crowe says that because deep down inside, Owens is scared. You’re scared that at any given moment, someone in NXT could beat you for that NXT Title. And the part about you being a good guy? After seeing what you did to Sami Zayn last week, I think you’re a piece of crap.
Owens asks if that is how Crowe feels. To show you how a good of a guy I am, it looks like that Crowe has earned himself an opportunity. What do you say, Regal? Crowd does the “YES” chant.
Regal says that Owens is making his job easy for him. Tonight’s main event will be Solomon Crowe against Kevin Owens.
Owens says that’s good, then asks how many people it was that he had stretchered out. Neville, Riley, Zayn, Zayn, Zayn and now, you can add Crowe to the list, too.
We see video from prior to TakeOver: Unstoppable when Hideo Itami was attacked by an unknown person outside Full Sail University in the parking lot.
We go to video sent in by Itami from the Performance Center. Itami says he doesn’t know who attacked him in the parking lot, but they took my opportunity at the NXT Title. I have injured my shoulder, I had surgery. When I come back, there will be no stopping me.

Commercial
Back from commercial, we go backstage as Devin Taylor interviews Alexa Bliss. Bliss mocks Devin’s question, asking if she learned to give her question in journalism school. Blake & Murphy are winners, I am a winner, and winners always seem to gravitate towards each other. Let’s compare my situation to Carmella, the Princess of Staten Island. Do you know what Staten Island is famous for? A garbage dump. So, Carmella has been around trash all her life, so I’m honestly not surprised she’s aligned herself with Enzo & Big Cass. Next week, Carmella & I have a match and I will send her right back to that garbage dump she came from.
