Jesse “The Body” Ventura was a guest on Thursday’s Happy Hour on the Fox Business Network. He continues to promote his new book American Conspiracies: Lies, Lies, and More Dirty Lies That the Government Tells Us. Host Rebecca Diamond noted that people wanted her to ask him about his pro wrestling career, but then said that was twenty years ago.
Ventura talked about the government telling us what they want to tell us. Ventura brought up the fact that you can’t get a copy of Lee Harvey Oswald’s (the assassin of President John F. Kennedy) tax returns. Ventura brought up what if Oswald’s returns indicated he received compensation from the government. Ventura said that the FBI has a most wanted list for terrorists, but doesn’t note Osama Bin Liden’s connection to the 9/11 attacks. Ventura said that when he contacted the FBI, he was told they didn’t have enough evidence to link him to the attacks.
Ventura said he didn’t want to write American Conspiracies, and in fact, turned it down initially. Ventura said he wrote it because he didn’t want people 100 years from now believing that there was no one that didn’t question what the government and main street media told us.
