“Then. Now. Forever.” The WWE video leads us into the show.
A video kicks off the show highlighting what happened at the end of Monday Night RAW. Seth Rollins, J&J Security, Luke Harper, Kane, and Big Show viciously took out John Cena, Dolph Ziggler, Erick Rowan, and Ryback ahead of the TLC PPV this Sunday.
John Cena and Seth Rollins verbally spar before WWE TLC
John Cena makes his way to the ring to a great reception. Tom Phillips, Michael Cole, and JBL welcome us to the show. Cena will face Seth Rollins at WWE TLC in two days in a Tables Match. If Cena loses, he’ll no longer be the number one contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Cena starts to speak, but he’s cut off by Seth Rollins’ music.
Seth Rollins makes his way to the stage accompanied by J&J Security. The crowd is loudly booing them. Cena looks dumbfounded at being interrupted. Rollins asks Cena to do us all a favor and shut up. Rollins asks how many times in the last ten years has Cena come out before a huge match and told everyone what he was going to do when he steps inside the ring. Rollins says he’ll give credit where it’s due. Cena is in the spot he’s in because over the ten years, he has stepped up every single time. 99 times out of 100, the things Cena said he’d do wound up happening. That’s how good Cena is. After this Sunday when he beats him at TLC, there will be a new standard set for the things that he says he’ll do 99 times out of 100. Cena talks all the time about how the future has to go through him, but he’ll tell Cena something. The future doesn’t exist without Seth Rollins. All Cena seems to want to do is talk, but he wants to be spared. Rollins wants to spell it out for him in a way he’ll understand. On Monday, Cena said it was about stepping up or stepping aside. Rollins says, “Your time is up, and my time is now.” The crowd boos that statement. Rollins says at TLC in their Tables Match, he doesn’t have to pin or submit Cena. All he has to do is do what he’s done for the last two weeks, and that’s send Cena’s ass crashing through a table.
Cena tells everyone to mark this day on the calendar because it’s the day Seth Rollins finally became a man. The Shield isn’t anywhere around him or The Authority. What Cena does see is a proud, confident Seth Rollins standing on his own two feet believing he’ll walk into Sunday with a chance in this fight. That’s what Cena wants because after he beats him on Sunday, he’ll have to wake up, look in the mirror, and say, “I just am not ready.” Cena tells him not to get him wrong. Rollins is good, but he’s not ready to stand in a ring on Sunday night going face to face with the man who runs this place. Rollins has a Tables Match against John Cena, and he’ll find out why for over a decade there has never been a safer bet than him on a Sunday night. Cena says he’ll show up with a purpose. Rollins says he is the future, but his purpose is to prove that future is not now, Sunday, or next year because John Cena is here.
Rollins converses amongst J&J Security before saying, “Damn it, John, you just don’t get it.” Cena talks about the future like it’s some far off distant place. Rollins says he is the embodiment of the future. Cena has been living in it for two years since he came to WWE and blew the doors off the place. Every single step he has taken since then leads to this Sunday and his Tables Match against Cena. When he puts Cena through the table on Sunday, he won’t just be beating him or taking away his opportunity at another shot for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. This Sunday marks the beginning of the end for John Cena. This is a paradigm shift. Rollins wants to explain to Cena and his simple little mind what that means. Rollins yells at the audience to stop the “Cena” chants. Rollins says when he beats Cena this Sunday, everything he worked for goes up in smoke. Cena will begin to fade into the background and become a whisper. This Sunday marks the beginning of the end for Cena and the rise of the new standard bearer in WWE, Seth Rollins.
Cena says Rollins’ confidence makes him a fool. Cena says Rollins is good, gifted, and has a bright future in WWE. If he’s going to talk like a man, then he needs to act like one and listen closely. Cena says this company is his life. If Rollins thinks for one second that this Sunday is the day he starts shoving him out the door, then he’ll line up with the 10,000 other people who thought the same thing and wound up eating those words. From René Duprée to Triple H, Orlando Jordan to The Rock, he has survived them all because of passion, focus, heart, and the guts to never give up. Cena is going to give a piece of advice the audience will like. If Rollins shows up on Sunday thinking he lost a step, the foot he thinks he’s missing will be pleasantly shoved up Rollins’ ass. Cena’s music plays, and he poses for the crowd while Rollins yells at him from the top of the ramp.
Dolph Ziggler, Erick Rowan, and Ryback will take on Big Show, Kane, and Luke Harper in tonight’s main event.

It’s a vicious, ugly, take no prisoners, brutal fight. Ambrose couldn’t be happier about it. Ambrose goes under the ladder. He says he and Wyatt will tear each other apart this Sunday.
