We see video from last week when Finn Balor debuted to help Hideo Itami lay out the Ascension.
We see the usual intro, then the music of Finn Balor hits as he makes his way to the ring. Balor grabs a mic as the crowd chants for him. Balor introduces himself and says he is here in NXT because I am the future.
Before Balor can speak some more, the music of Tyson Kidd hits as he & Natalya make their way onto the rampway. Kidd says that Balor has been here for a cup of coffee and I’m supposed to pretend that you’re the guy? I was brought into this business the right way, as a Hart. And as a Hart, the first thing we’re taught is respect, something you clearly lack, FACT!
Justin Gabriel’s music hits and he makes his way onto the rampway. Gabriel has a mic and says that Kidd is absolutely right. It feels like every single week, a new “big international superstar” arrives, walks down this ramp, gets some cool music and thinks he is a top guy. Well, here’s the thing, you gotta get through us first. We’re gonna show you exactly how far away from the top you are, buddy.
Kidd & Gabriel get in the ring and corner Balor, then, the music of Hideo Itami hits and he makes his way to the ring. Itami gets in to help Balor and now, the sides are even. Kidd & Gabriel leave the ring, then a referee runs in. Ring announcer Jojo gets on the mic and says that according to William Regal, this will now be a tag-team match.

Something about tonight is very different than other opportunities I’ve had in the past and this Road to Redemption that we’ve been talking about, its not just a clever way to label a couple of important wins, I feel like this is destiny, destiny coming together and the thing about destiny is, it never makes mistakes.
