We see the usual intro, then go to the opening match.
Grudge Match: “Prince Pretty” Tyler Breeze vs. “The Hype-Man” Mojo Rawley
Breeze avoids Mojo and hits a quick jab. Breeze backs up to the ropes to keep Mojo away from him. Another quick jab, but Mojo grabs him. Breeze sits on the ropes to taunt Mojo. Mojo grabs him and drives Breeze into the ropes, followed by a series of gut shots. Mojo charges, but Breeze catches him with double boots to the injured arm of Mojo. Breeze stomps away at Mojo.
Fujiwara armbar applied, ref stops the match, even though Mojo did not submit.
Winner: “Prince Pretty” Tyler Breeze via referee stoppage
Ref & medical attendants check on the injured Mojo afterwards as Breeze celebrates his win.
We go to video from earlier this week with the Jersey Boys at the WWE Performance Center. Enzo asks NXT GM William Regal for a favor, looking to see if Regal would give Carmella a tryout. Regal wonders if Enzo is asking him to help him get a date and Enzo says no, he’s legit. They head to the ring, where Carmella is training with a NXT female student and hits a dropkick, followed by a headscissors submission. Regal says for the Jersey Boys to bring Carmella next week. Enzo tells Carmella that she has a tryout and she is happy, but hugs Cass and not Enzo. Enzo says Cass that he knows he is gonna post the video, even though he doesn’t want him to.

Back from commercial, we see video on the rivalry between Hideo Itami and the Ascension.
Grudge Match: Viktor vs. “The Shining Sun” Hideo Itami
Both men charge at each other as the bell sounds and exchange strikes. Itami gains advantage, but Viktor catches him with a back elbow. Viktor with a big chop, then rakes his forearm against the face of Itami. Viktor pulls at Itami’s face, then hits an uppercut. Snap suplex by Viktor for a nearfall. Viktor with right hands from the mount on Itami. Another big chop and an uppercut by Viktor knocks down Itami. Viktor gains a nearfall. Crowd wills on Itami. Itami slips out of a back suplex and hits a series of leg kicks, followed by a spinning back kick. Itami sent onto the apron, but hits a head kick to Viktor, followed by a springboard dropkick. Running dropkick in the corner by Itami, then he heads up top. All of a sudden, we see Konnor come out with an injured Funaki.
Itami is distracted, but is able to catch Viktor with a one-legged dropkick for the win.
Winner: “The Shining Sun” Hideo Itami by pinfall (One-Legged Dropkick)
Afterwards, Konnor runs in and attacks Itami, unloading with forearms. Konnor holds Itami while Viktor hits a running boot to the head. The Ascension tie Itami up in the ropes, then Funaki tries to help, but to no avail. The Ascension then make Itami watch as they lay out Funaki with the Fall of Man. The Ascension taunt Itami as they leave him, still tied up, as Funaki is injured in the ring.

Back from commercial, we see video from during the break as medical attendants take Funaki out on a stretcher.
The Vaudevillains (“The Artiste” Aiden English & Simon Gotch) vs. The Jersey Boys (Enzo Amore & “Big Cass” Colin Cassady)
Before the match, Enzo introduces himself as Smack Talker, Skywalker and he has a microphone light saber for a hater. Enzo then introduces Big Cass as the Big Bambino. Vaudevillains, I see that you managed to transcend time. I got news for you, Laurel & Hardy, prohibition is over, loosen up. Do me a favor, hop in your DeLorian and go back to the future. Cass says for you two “sloppy jalopies” to go back to pumping iron, cuz ya out here, flexing like your Arnold. More like Hey Arnold, you should have never stepped off the stoop! You two are S…A…W…F…T……SAWFT!!!
Enzo & Gotch start. Gotch backs Enzo into the corner and hits a series of knees to the ribs. English in as Gotch with a slam, followed by English hitting a leaping kneedrop for a nearfall. English with an elbow to the face of English, followed by a knee to the back for a nearfall. Back suplex by English for a nearfall. Keylock applied by English, but Enzo counters another back suplex with a crossbody. Cass in, 3 right hands to English, followed by a high knee. Cass fires up, but English slips out of a slam and tags in Gotch, but Cass catches him with a big boot, English breaks up the pin. Cass knocks English off the apron, Enzo tags in. Cass gourdbusters Enzo across Gotch, but then English knocks Cass off the apron and into the barricade on the outside. Gotch sends Enzo face-first off the middle turnbuckle.
That’s a Wrap by the Vaudevillains for the win.

Backstage, Sami Zayn says he feeling pretty good about his match tonight with Titus O’Neil. Titus should be a monster for all intents and purposes and he should be a threat, to some extent he is, but in the same breath, this is a guy who is currently embroiled in a battle with a bunny. So, now he wants to come to NXT to use it as a proving ground, then wants to get involved in a title match with Neville, I felt the need to not only defend NXT, but to stand up for my friend, Neville.

Becky Lynch vs. “The Boss” Sasha Banks
Sasha trash talks Lynch as the bell sounds, but Lynch slaps her. Lynch with an armdrag into an armbar. La Magistral by Lynch for a nearfall. Sasha pulls down Lynch by the hair, but Lynch back bridges out of a pin attempt and hits an elbow drop to the back of Sasha, followed by a kip-up. Sasha avoids a corner charge and unloads with back clubs to Lynch in the corner. Sasha chokes Lynch with her boot in the corner. Sasha runs into a back elbow, but catches double boots, places Lynch across the middle rope and hits double knees to the ribs for a nearfall. Seated surfboard applied by Sasha, crowd wills on Lynch. Sasha kicks at Lynch while keeping the hold applied. Lynch gets to her feet, but Sasha drives her back down for a 1 count. Seated surfboard re-applied, crowd again wills on Lynch. Sasha misses a forearm, roll-up by Lynch for a nearfall. Sasha blocks a backslide, but Lynch with an uppercut, 2 clotheslines, a dropkick and a snap legdrop for a nearfall. Springboard one-legged kick by Lynch in the corner. Sasha then goes off Lynch’s blind side and hits a sit-out clothesline.

Main Event in a Grudge Match: “The Big Deal” Titus O’Neil vs. Sami Zayn
Crowd chants for Zayn as the bell sounds. Titus throws Zayn down early. Titus backs Zayn into the corner, but Zayn avoids a right hand. Zayn goes for a waistlock, Titus drives him into the corner, but Zayn with a chop. Titus with a knee to the ribs, but Zayn springs over him and hits a series of forearms, but Titus does not go down. Zayn off the ropes, but Titus catches him and hits a slam. Titus unloads with right hands from the mount on Zayn, then chokes Zayn with his knee in the ropes. Zayn fights back, but Titus with more knees to the ribs, followed by a back club. Titus chokes Zayn in the ropes, but Zayn with a big overhand chop. Titus is angered by this and unloads with right hands and knees to Zayn in the corner, then chokes Zayn with his boot. Titus slaps Zayn, but Zayn with another big overhand chop. Zayn fights back, but Titus with another slam for a nearfall. Titus sends Zayn to the outside, Zayn lands hard on the steel rampway.

Back from commercial as Titus has Zayn in a bearhug, crowd wills on Zayn. Zayn tries to fight out, but Titus puts more pressure on the hold. Crowd now does the “OLE” chant to will on Zayn. Zayn again tries to fight out, but Titus then ragdolls him to put more pressure on the hold. Titus finally releases the hold. Another slam by Titus for a nearfall. Titus yells at Zayn to quit, paintbrushing him. Zayn fights back, yelling at Titus to bring it, to which Titus does with more knees and back clubs to Zayn in the corner. Ref asks Zayn if he wants to continue and Zayn says yes. TItus with more knees and right hands and stomps to Zayn in the corner. Ref pulls Titus back, crowd again wills on Zayn. Titus locks Zayn back in the bearhug, continuing to ragdoll him. Titus switches to an inverted bearhug, crowd again wills on Zayn. Zayn fights out with reverse headbutts and fights back, but Titus with a gut kick. Titus charges, but Zayn pulls down the top rope, sending Titus to the outside. Zayn with a head of steam and wipes out Titus with a flip dive! Back in, Zayn heads up top, crossbody to Titus for a nearfall. Zayn goes for the OLE Kick, but Titus catches him with a boot for a nearfall. Zayn slips out of a slam, then climbs on Titus’s back and locks in a Sleeper. Zayn takes Titus down to a knee, but Titus gets back to his feet and gets free by taking Zayn down. Titus charges, but Zayn catches him with double boots. Zayn goes for a cover, but Titus gets his foot on the bottom rope. Zayn with a knucklelock and goes to run up the ropes for the Tornado DDT, but Titus catches him with a short-arm clothesline for a nearfall. Titus goes for a powerbomb, but Zayn slips out and re-applies the knucklelock. Zayn runs up the ropes, but Titus crotches him.
CLASH OF THE TITUS!! 1-2-3!
Winner: “The Big Deal” Titus O’Neil by pinfall (The Clash of the Titus)
Titus celebrates his win afterward, then drags Zayn onto the apron. Titus heads up top, but Adrian Neville runs out and pulls Zayn outside to stop Titus’s attack. Neville & Titus stare each other down as the show closes.
