Television ratings for WWE and TNA programming from August 25 to August 29.
WWE RAW: The 8/25 show drew a 2.88 cable rating with an average audience of 3.97 million viewers. The first hour started at 3.86 million viewers, grew to 4.06 million viewers in the second hour and finished with 4.01 million viewers in the third hour. While it was the first of many shows expected to dip below the 3.0 levels with heavy NFL competition in the coming months, the show did come in at No. 4, No. 5 and No. 8 among the top 25 shows on cabe.
TNA Impact Wrestling: The 8/27 show drew a 0.81 cable rating with 928,000 viewers. This was up from the first show in the next Wednesday time slot the prior week that only drew 852,000 viewers. DVR numbers were also up adding an addition 176,000 viweers between Thursday and Saturday.
WWE Smackdown: The 8/29 show drew a 1.95 cable rating with 2.73 million viewers. It easily won the night on cable that Friday. It also nearly trippled the audience for college football on ESPN (1.08 million viewers).
