Two sources working closely with Jeff Jarrett’s Global Force Wrestling promotion stated this week that the company is currently in the middle of television negotiations. This same source indicated that an earlier report stating that country music star Toby Keith no longer had any involvement with the promotion isn’t correct according to a report by Mike Johnson. That original report came from Dave Meltzer and The Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
At one point Global Force Wrestling was to use a six-sided ring. However, it remains to be seen if that will still be the case with TNA bringing back the ring going forward at the Impact Wrestling television tapings in New York City last week. Another source claims that TNA may have rushed to bring back the ring to do this ahead of any debut by Jarrett. The idea for TNA to use the six-sided ring was from Jarrett originally.
