The Qwilt website released figures yesterday on the top websites that produce live, streaming content. The WWE Network is currently in second place for the most usage with 17.7%, only behind live-streaming video game site Twitch.tv. WWE’s current ranking puts them ahead of uStream, MLB.com and ESPN.com for total usage.
The site also released figures that showed that on the day of Wrestlemania 30 (April 6), WWE ranked in third place for the day for online streaming volume ahead of Amazon Prime and Hulu Plus and behind Netflix and YouTube. One thing of note is that WWE’s streaming usage increased over the 6 hours of live programming that day for Wrestlemania 30, while the other content providers did not see any drop in usage on their sites.
