Television ratings for WWE and TNA programming from January 6 to January 10, 2014.
WWE RAW: The 1/6 “Old School” show drew a 3.23 cable rating with 4.54 million viewers. It was the highest amount of viewers for RAW since the day after Wrestlemania 29 last year and the best overall rating since the day after Summerslam (3.24). The higher number was considered even more impressive going head-to-head with the BCS championship game (24.57 million viewers).
TNA Impact Wrestling: The 1/9 show drew a 1.18 cable rating with 1.39 million viewers. It ended up as the most viewers for the show since last July (Destination X themed show). The biggest competition the show went up against on Thursday night was the NBC (3.19 million viewers). In demographics the show drew a 0.71 among males 18-34 and 0.89 among males 35-49.
WWE Smackdown: The 1/10 show drew a 1.96 cable rating with 2.82 million viewers. The show ended up beating out the NBA (2.49 million viewers) and took the show to No. 2 overall for the night on cable.
