Mike Johnson is reporting that the Extreme Rising promotion will be announcing later this week that they will be returning for a show on 12/28. This show will be the first wrestling event held at the re-opened former ECW Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Extreme Rising has stayed quiet since this past April when they canceled their triple-shot of events in New York and Philadelphia during Wrestlemania 29 weekend. It is also said that Extreme Rising will be debuting on local Philadelphia TV in the coming weeks. There will be a press release by Extreme Rising announcing the return date and the new TV deal later this week.
