ABC 6 in Philadelphia is featuring an article noting that the city has shown interest in hosting a future Wrestlemania event at Lincoln Financial Field following the success of Wrestlemania 29 in New Jersey earlier this year at MetLife Stadium.
WWE issued a response to the report adding, “Philadelphia is one of the many cities that has expressed an interest in hosting a future WrestleMania. An announcement regarding WrestleMania 31 will be made early next year.”
