Scheduled line-up –
PWO Tag Team Championship: Brutus ?The Barber? Beefcake & Greg ?The Hammer? Valentine vs. The Clash
At Wrestlelution 2, Ernie Ballz & Brian Bender used a divide & conquer strategy to succeed, first severely injuring the knee of Greg Valentine the night before, then exploiting a partner-less Jim ?The Anvil? Neidhart to capture the PWO Tag Team Titles. With Neidhart out of the picture, a wonded Hammer called upon an old friend – Brutus ?The Barber? Beefcake, whom had teamed with Valentine to capture World Tag Team gold in 1985. This Sunday night on PWO TV, Valentine & Beefcake team together on television for the first time in 22 years! However, Greg Valentine is still nowhere near 100% thanks to The Clash, leaving The Barber to handle most of the work. Can history repeat itself this Sunday with another feel-good legendary tag team victory? Or will The Clash find another way around two of the sport’s all-time greats?
Mike Tolar Responds!
This past week, Johnny Gargano’s first public comments as PWO Champion were interrupted by the self-proclaimed ?Greatest Thing Going Today? Mike Tolar, who not only insulted Gargano, but physically attacked him as well. Tolar & Gargano meet for the PWO Championship one week from this Sunday on television, but this weekend Mike Tolar responds and reacts to last week’s events and next week’s championship encounter. Is Mike Tolar just days away from realizing his destiny?
?Big Bear? Benjamin Boone w/?Amazing? N8 Mattson vs. Michael ?The Bomber? Fa?ade
The #1 threat to the PWO roster is the Big Bear! Boone has yet to be pinned since aligning himself with the veteran Michigan elitist, with Mattson bringing out a long-missing anger and focus, leaving Boone a 270+ lb. implement of destruction. Meanwhile, Michael Fa?ade has been making a name for himself in a variety of other areas of the country. Using a unique hybrid of recklessness inspired from his days as a less-than-legal graffiti artist, and disciplined martial arts style offense, Fa?ade is one of the most distinctive personalities in the area today. We heard his comments this past week, intending to ?tag? PWO and springboard to superstardom but what will he do when a Big Bear walks directly into his path?
?True Talent? Bobby Shields w/Sex Appeal vs. Ben Fruith
The master of 1,000 nicknames Bobby Shields was scheduled to challenge PWO Television Champion Omega Aaron Draven for the title, however doctors have forced Draven to take a few extra weeks to rest his ribs that have been injured for a number of months. As a result, Shields feels cheated and looks to take it out on Ben Fruith – the gullible, loveable loser who has spent his time being brainwashed and manipulated by Mike Tolar. Despite all of Tolar’s alleged ?teachings?, Ben has still only specialized in one maneuver – The Fruith Roll-Up. Will it lead to a sweet-tasting victory or will Shields and the rest of Sex Appeal leave a bitter taste in everyone’s mouths as Shields attempts to send a message to Omega Aaron Draven and the rest of the PWO roster?
Plus – Comments from Hailey Hatred, Jason Bane & Hobo Joe, and more!
