As reported on earlier according to WWE, the early buyrate estimate for the Elimination Chamber PPV on 2/17/13 saw the show draw 212,000 buys. This breaks down to 160,000 buys domestic and 52,000 buys international according to a report by Dave Meltzer. It turned out to be one of the biggest domestic numbers for WWE with a “B” event in a few years featuring The Rock vs. CM Punk headlining for the WWE Championship. The domestic number was up 16 percent from last year, while the international number was down 7 percent. WWE will release final numbers in the first quarter earnings for 2013.
