Bruno Sammartino revealed in a recent interview that he was being paid $5,000 to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year. This has remained the usual price for those entering WWE’s Hall of Fame with presenters receiving $2,500. While Sammartino was accurate in making the figure public, the deal he actually agreed to with WWE was closer to a “Wrestlemania top star payoff” according to a report by Dave Meltzer.
While the actual figure isn’t known, it isn’t believed to be at the levels of what a John Cena, Brock Lesnar or Rock would receive. However, Sammartino is definitely getting much more to be part of the Hall of Fame than anyone to date. He is also expected to be featured as a character in the new WWE 2K14 video game.
