TNA PRESIDENT DIXIE CARTER ANNOUNCES MORE LIVE TV MARKETS FOR “IMPACT WRESTLING”, JEFF HARDY RETURNS AND MORE DURING BELLATOR ON SPIKE TV THURSDAY NIGHT
Top names in pro wrestling to make history in new markets across the US, Hardy signs long term agreement with company
TNA IMPACT WRESTLING President Dixie Carter announced during Thursday’s Bellator fight, live from Atlanta on Spike TV, that “IMPACT WRESTLING” will air live from three new locations: Jonesboro, Ark. on Thursday, March 28 from the Arkansas State University Convention Center; Corpus Christi, Texas on April 11 at the American Bank Center; and Duluth, Ga. (Atlanta) on June 6 from the Arena at Gwinnett Center.
Carter also announced that current TNA World Heavyweight Champion Jeff Hardy has signed a long-term contract. He will return to “IMPACT WRESTLING” on Spike TV at 8 p.m. ET on Thursday, Feb. 28.
“Being able to make these announcements on Bellator last night shows the synergy between our two brands,” says Carter. “Jonesboro has not broadcasted a pro wrestling worldwide TV taping in more than a decade, and with the return of Hulk Hogan, this will truly be a historic night. This will be our second consecutive, live broadcast from the road after leaving the Impact Zone in early March. We are expecting to have a great crowd in Chicago on March 14 and continue the excitement in Jonesboro and Corpus Christi,” she said.
One interesting occurrence, left unmentioned during the live Bellator fight, was the unusual ringside interaction shared between Carter and TNA wrestler AJ Styles.
“I had to do a double take when I saw AJ,” said Carter. “He was cold, distant and unapproachable.”
More information regarding “IMPACT WRESTLING” on the road will be announced soon. Visit www.impactwrestling.com for our latest updates.
