The show starts with an appearance by HBK. He reveals the belt for the NXT Tag Team Championship. As a man who knows something about Tag Teams, he says all of the NXT locker room better be gunning for them as the two guys who wins them will be the next future stars of the WWE. He does a DX reference before it ends.

NXT Tag Team Tournament Match: Yoshi Tatsu and Percy Watson vs. The Wyatt Family
The Wyatt family is on the offensive from the start of the match and would control most of the match. Percy would start the match, but he would tag out to Yoshi for the majority of the match. Percy would come back into the match hot, but all four wrestlers end in the ring. It results with Percy left with Luke Harper and a pin fall.
Winners: The Wyatt Family
Alex Riley and his tag partner are meeting with Dusty Rhodes. He tells them they will have a tournament match next week against Leo Kruger and Kassius Ohno. Corey Graves comes in and says he’s getting screwed. Alex Riley tells “froggy” to jump. He doesn’t. Rhodes tells him that he’s not in the tag tournament cause no one would team with him. This includes Jake Carter. It ends up with Dusty making a match between the two.

Alicia Fox vs. Sasha Banks
Alicia comes out in a gladiator skirt in American Marine Core Uniform stylings. Sasha is apparently from the “Mean Streets” of Boston. Alicia mocks Sasha as she gets into the ring. Alicia starts the offensive, but it goes back and forth. Alicia would get sustained offense till Sasha breaks out a big move to turn the tide. Each time, Sasha’s inexperience gets to her until she counters a slam with a roll-up for the win.
Winner: Sasha Banks
We get a video package for Paige. She’s here to be a fighter. The less you know about her.. the better.
Renee Young, NXT’s new correspondent meets with Aksana. She says Paige stole her look. 2013 will be her year. She’s in and Paige is out.

We have a package for Conor O’Brian. He calls himself the true Ascension and “will rise”.
Corey Graves vs. Jake Carter
Corey comes out to his music while Jake Carter gets no introduction. The crowd goes silent as the match starts. Jake gets a hold for a minute before Corey breaks it and applies his own hold. The crowd in the arena are turning Japanese in retrospect. Corey hits a spear and turns it into the 13th step hold for a tap out.
Winner: Corey Graves
After the match, Corey gets on the mic talking about getting screwed out of the title and the tag team tournament. He’s an outcast and he’s used to it. He appeals to management. He’s the “Savior of Misbehavior”. If he can’t be in it, it’s time for anarchy. And he appeals to Alex Riley, saying that he’ll “stay down”.

NXT Tag Team Tournament Match: Adrian Neville and Oliver Grey vs. 3MB
3MB is out first. Drew and Slater are representing 3MB. The Brits are out next. Drew gets one move in and then pulls back to mock the Brits. They would lock up again and the match would go back and forth. Commentary is trying to put all of the wrestlers over. Regal explains while he would want to punch 3MB’s faces in, they’re doing their job to get attention and aren’t stupid. Neville is compared to Dynamite Kid and Oliver has family relations. Before going to commercial break we get two dives over the ropes.

When we return from break, 3MB is back in control of the match. It ends when Oliver, after taking a beating, drops Heath. Neville comes in hot with flips. Drew tries to stop him, but can’t. Slater tries to stop him, but cannot. Neville hits a corkscrew shooting star press for the win.
Winners: Adrian Neville and Oliver Grey
After the match, we get 3 more looks of the corkscrew shooting star press.

Non-Title Match: NXT Champion Big E Langston vs. Axl Keegan
Axl is a dirty ham from Framingham, MA. He’s in the ring already. Big E is out with an introduction. The fans are chanting 5 right away. It’s over quickly.
Winner: Big E Langston
After the match, the crowd chants for more. As Big E. has Axel on his shoulder, the lights dim. On the tron, Conor O’Brian appears. He tells Big E. that in two weeks, it only takes a three count to pull the title from him. He talks about “The Awakening” before he laughs. When the lights come back on, Big E. nails Axel with the Big Ending, followed by a 5 count. The crowd wants Big E to do it again and he obliges with another Big Ending and another 5 count. Big E celebrates on the ramp way as we go to credits.
