“Then. Now. Forever.” The WWE video leads us into the show.

They show the highlights of Mr. McMahon giving Paul Heyman a personal performance review. McMahon was about to fire him when Brock Lesnar came out and gave him an F-5. They also show footage of Big Show taping Alberto Del Rio to the ropes while forcing him to watch the destruction of Ricardo Rodriguez.

Alberto Del Rio is pacing the parking lot outside the arena with a baseball bat in hand.

In the arena, Booker T is in the ring with Teddy Long. Also in the ring are Sheamus, Randy Orton, Daniel Bryan, Kane, and The Great Khali. Dolph Ziggler is outside with AJ Lee and Big E. Langston. Booker T welcomes the crowd to Friday Night Smackdown. Booker talks about the Royal Rumble match won by John Cena. Cena has been tweeting and telling the whole world that he will challenge for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania. The question is who will challenge on that grand stage for the World Heavyweight Championship. Booker turns to the superstars in the ring and says that is the reason why we’re here. They all have their own unique qualities, and they’ve all been the World Heavyweight Champion. He’ll give them the chance to become champion one more time. The only thing they have to do is win perhaps the most spectacular event in WWE history: the Elimination Chamber match.

Booker begins to go over the rules, but Jack Swagger’s music hits to interrupt him. Swagger hasn’t been seen on WWE TV since September. Swagger says someone has been left out of this gathering of World Champions. Swagger gets in the ring. Booker asks where he’s been. Swagger says he’s been living the life of a real American, and his eyes are open. Since he’s been gone, he’s been watching everything, and he’s very disappointed with the direction WWE is heading. Swagger says he wants Booker to put him in the Elimination Chamber, and he’ll do the rest. Booker says he has to prove himself and earn it just like everyone else. There are six available spots in the chamber.

Dolph Ziggler cuts Booker T off. Ziggler says he’s already Mr. Money in the Bank. He has a guaranteed World Title match, and Booker is proposing that they can compete in one of the most brutal and barbaric matches in all of WWE or he can just sit back, do nothing, and still have his guaranteed World Title match. Ziggler says he’s going to win the World Title, especially if the champion is Alberto Del Rio. He can cash it in whenever or wherever he wants, including WrestleMania.

Ziggler begins to walk out, and Booker mentions to Long that he knew Ziggler would “chicken out” of the Chamber. Booker tells him to wait. He can chicken out of the Elimination Chamber, but he cannot chicken out of his match tonight with Alberto Del Rio. Booker mentions that Del Rio is in a real bad mood.

Booker turns to the remaining superstars. They’ll all be in matches tonight. All they have to do is impress him and Teddy Long. Then they’ll decide. Right now, we’re ready to kick the show off with a bang. He’s talking about tag team action. He’s talking about Team Hell No taking on Sin Cara and Rey Mysterio.

Rey Mysterio’s music hits, and he comes out to a great reception from his hometown crowd.
